Speaking of Pokemon tower, it's pretty messed up in G&S they knocked it down and moved it to a tiny building to make room for a radio tower. Mr Fuji says there's loads more graves underground.

They dug up thousands and thousands of dead Pokemon to build a radio tower in the most barren area of Kanto

The genderless thing was more a game mechanic "necessity" breeding block implemented retardedly. One of the main arcs of the anime centered around a baby legendary and it's parents. Quite a few of the legendaries in fact aren't special at all and instead members of a species. The Ditto Mew thing is possible. Mewtwo can't bread because he's he only one of his race... unless it's with another pokemon.. I mean If mew works like Ditto then it's possible he can with anything. Maybe even human.

To be fair, I don't really consider Anime to be canon. They are too different to be part of the same universe so it's better to think of the anime as a different timeline. I know I just took the lore from the anime and applied it to Mewtwo, but that's where most of his personality and lore came from anyways so I am willing to make him an exception.

My friend, this was always your standard Pokemon discussions. The leaks just made it official. I have no clue what fandom people who are surprised by any of this were participating in, probably normalfags who stopped playing Pokemon when it "stopped being cool" in high school.

I honestly don't recall people hating BW because you couldn't catch older Pokémon. I recall excitement over that. It was something new rather than just the same damn rehashes again.
I think there's been a rewrite how people saw it at the time, just like how people think Zelda II was a rejected black sheep when in reality people loved it at the time.

Biggest reason BW got so much hate was because the fans were shitting themselves over not being able to use Pikachu or Charizard again(and bringing old Pokemon back was one of the biggest marketing points of BW2 as well). The other was mocking some of the designs of the new Pokemon, like the garbage bag or the ice cream cone. Seeing some of the later designs, which these same people were slobbering over because "Gamefreak redeemed themselves!"(By giving me more Charizard and Pikachu) is hilarious.
It's also pretty much confirmed that Masuda stopped giving a shit about the franchise at that point, once he saw just how petty the reasons were for people that were hating on his masterpiece he put so much heart into. Pokemon became nothing more than a soulless genwun pandering ever since, which eventually gave birth to the KANTOOO guy meme.

Kanto just got fucked up in the three year timeskip. Cinnabar Island got raped by a volcano in that game, I believe.

Fire Red/Leaf Green are also peak tbh. If you need a playing order, go FRLG, HGSS, Emerald, Platinum, BW, and B2W2. Then pretend that the series died after that.

So why is Ditto only found in the Pokemon Mansion where Mew was studied? How come Mew and Ditto weigh the same and have the same colour (and probably shape if you manipulated Mew)? I think Masuda just didn't think about it much or get involved in that bit.

They are another cool design like Lucario.

It was Blaine's dead daughter that he was attempting to clone back into existence, but since the clone's were failing he spliced in Mew DNA in an attempt to get a clone that wouldn't die which created Mewtwo.

I knew it was something like that. Given mew's abilities and the human DNA, he might actually be able to reproduce with humans if anyone. Or possibly everything.

We got robbed even as far back as Gen 2. The original designs for these two(which were restored in the SuperGold97 romhack) was a gun Remoraid and a tank Octillery, which makes a whole lot more sense than what we got. This was leaked in the Spaceworld beta.

I would search for the real console if I were you, even a 3DS since you can play DS games on it, and then buy a R4 cart from a trusted seller so you can get as many free games(and romhacks) as you want on it.

This would normally not mean anything, as the only other Pokemon that learns Transform is Mew, an extremely late addition to the game...except that with the use of a glitch, you can encounter wild Mews that, you guessed it, can use Transform. When you catch a transformed Mew, it becomes a Ditto. Make of that what you will.

If you want to take the leak myths as valid, at some point in time all Pokémon seemingly had the power to change between human and Pokémon form, not just these Yokai variants.

I'm an oldschool guy who prefers real hardware, much more dependable than software and works better too. Nothing like having a whole collection of SD carts and several backup R4 cards, and an entire DS collection that can literally fit in your pocket. Fan games, homebrew, emulators and romhacks included btw.
