Yeesh, this reminds me of that Wizard who came here and started talking about how someday soon, scientists would invent a race of genetically modified women to act as sex slaves.

Interesting facts about the key differences about the two fandoms.

* "Monster Girl" fans draw most of their autism from the "Monster Girl Encyclopedia" canon, which is basically a bunch of stuff about rape happy female monsters that dominate men, not the other way round. Most of them acknowledge they would be the submissive partner to the monster girl, and where these fans congregate, most of them drool over being made a monster girl's sex slave.

* "Pokegirl" fans draw their autism from their shit parody of a Pokedex, whatever self insert bullshit they write, and the source canon that started this nonsense where a literal pervert created Pokegirls because he was a butthurt little incel asshole and unleashed some sort of plague or some shit to turn most to all women into them since the world appropriately thought he was a sick motherfucker.

I keep passing by these idiots who wait for the day cyborgs replace women and that getting rid of the female gender will create a utopia of sorts.

By "monster girls," I was referring to the concept in general sans Pokegirls, not nessecarily just the MGE you mention. And from what I've observed, I wouldn't think of MGE as being inherently "autistic," albeit certainly unique. From what I gather, MGE is created by a professional Japanese manga artist.

Pokegirls, OTOH, seems to be created by stereotypical socially impaired and unemployed fedora'd neckbeards.

I vaguely remember Pokegirls coming up in the big TVTropes drama where they tried to delete all the rapey and paedotastic content. I remember there were - surprise - some Tropers who were very vocal about defending the Pokegirls page.

I remember that, it got deleted along with a bunch of related BS in a similar vein, mostly because the overwhelming amount of content for it was porn related.

I know I got an autistic rating above for my description of the above, but it applies when you consider the obsessive fandoms around monster girls and pokegirls, both of which have made their own spinoffs, fanfics, fanart, wikis, and what have you to obsess over it.

However, when it comes down to which side is more pathetic and repulsive, I'd have to have to say the pokegirls autists by a long shot, Monster girl fans accept they would be the sex slaves/constantly raped by the monsters they obsess over, whereas the pokegirl perverts are ones who are masturbating to being the rapists.

The quailty is also the key difference. Monster girls fandom draws from an experienced artist and have produced work that is good enough to sell for profit (see Monster Girl Quest) based off of it. Pokegirls is a shitty fanfic based on rape fantasies (in which fans are male and the work involving raping pokegirls to "tame" them) and bastardized Pokemon canon.

Monster Girl fans might be autists as well, but of the two fandoms, at least they aren't very likely to be a threat to actual women, since in the world they obsess over women are the dominators, not the other way round.

I've stumbled across that encyclopedia thing once or twice, but most of my exposure to monster girls is through MonMu, which I have conflicting feelings towards.

If you're referring to Monster Musume no Ichijiro no, or "Everyday Life With Monster Girls", it's a tamer version of the monster girl fandom turned into a series set in the contemporary world, probably about as tame as you can make it without deviating too far from the base of the series.

It's actually a watered down version of a more explicit series done by the same author with more of a story and better art.
