Yes because plurals/headmates all live inside the persons head (allegedly) and this manifests in roleplaying as these separate "people" but tulpas are imaginary friends + visual hallucinations, and the person with a tulpa treats the tulpa like you would any imaginary friend, a different person with its own "body" whereas the "headmates" all just share a body.
I'm so thankful I don't have to deal with any of these issues and can just laugh at this shit from afar.

Because it is really fucking funny.

Oh boy, I remember in my tumblr days I followed a lot of “multiple” systems, one of which had alters that tried to “kill” each other, another that claimed they had to “kill” an alter or else it would try to kill the body. it was really entertaining to watch but I’m disappointed in humanity that this wasn’t just a tumblr fad for a year or two and that this shit is still festering beyond tumblr in 2018. *sigh*

Also another difference to note: all of these plurals are SJW-types who want to pretend to be these progressive important political and social activists.

Tulpamancers tend (but are not always) to be lonely 4chan NEET types that are un-PC and spend all their time on /x/ or watching childrens cartoons like MLP.

Best thread in a long time @Gengar
Good work! These people overlap a lot with just about any cow imaginable (save maybe right wing cows) and I'm sure there will be sporadic content for a long time.

I did a thread on pop culture pagans once and I bet a not insignificant amount of them would be multiple systems, too.

So...separate but equal?

I just love how they type like hive-mind robots.
We do not adhere to your singular society. We are diverse in number and in experience. We will not be contained to an individual system, lest we use any means necessary to retain our multiplicity.

"Singlet" is the funniest goddamn Tumblr neo-term I've heard yet. "Look at this idiot, he leaves the house AND only hears one voice in his head! It's not even an anime character's!"

When I was a kid and we wanted attention, we just said our uncle worked for Nintendo.

This shit is ridiculous.

Y’ever notice it’s never attractive people who have these complex head problems.

S’funny, that

Makes a person want to draw some unkind conclusions

There's finally a thread about plurals? Great! The plurs were always batshit insane, heck, even the tumblr community thought they were crazy, or at least at first until of course the plurs chimped out and started using all the -isms they could throw at people to get them to tolerate their crap.

Don't know if it's been brought up yet, but Jim made a really good video about headmates way back when he was the InternetAristrocrat too. I'd recommend it if you haven't seen it already.
