Actually I need to add one more rule due to the fact I overlooked a feature of the forum messaging system.

You are NOT to forward communications through the Pm system's add to conversation or quote features. If a conversation is moving to add people it must be started from scratch, and any messages that are leaked must be done so in plain text.

This ensures that the element of deceit and doubt are still maintained.

The idea isn't that false screenshots or even screenshots in general would be bad, but more a concession to the fact that if they were allowed, every time someone tried to leak something, a screenshot would be demanded, and this causes a key aspect of the game to break down on a way that doesn't really add much nuance. Trust me, I've been down this road enough times with this and similar games to know why.

Essentially it just helps prevent time being wasted to achieve precisely the same result, especially since you can just make the text in the browser itself different easily.

For instance this is literally 2 seconds in chrome to change the message. it can't be determined as a shop because simply it isn't, it was inspect element instead. But yet in a game I played where the GM didn't tell us not to, we had to do this every time we leaked a message for the person we were leaking it to to listen, and even then the person getting the message knew full and well it could be fake as easily as real and disbeleived it just as often as they normally would have plaintext. It's just busywork.

Of course now for the most part if I play online I play on an actual site for this with a HTML client, not by forum, so the rules are much more tried and tested from years of people breaking shit.

There is a 100% chance I will gossip about this game to kiwi friends so only do that if you are comfortable with potentially the entire site knowing your plans

Also my inbox would be acomplete and utter fucking catastrophe.
 
I'm still missing two non-aggression treaties. You know who you are! I want them on my desk before the end of the turn, otherwise a war you shall have, mes amis!
