This costume does NOT work for Pixy. At all. She does not have the proper waist to hip ratio for a mermaid costume.

She definitely should have painted them very close to her skin color. Then she'd just look flat chested instead of revealing that gravity has already kicked her ass. At least she wasn't crying for sympathy this time.

Is there a particular mermaid she was going for? If not, why pick the yellow wig? As a prominently-eyebrowed member of the forum, I'm sure there are plenty of shades that could go with her eyebrows much better and still give off the whimsical mermaid look.

It's from a anime movie from 1975, based on The Little Mermaid. As you can see Japan obviously doesn't care about teenage mermaid tits out in the open. She definitely should have temporarily lightened her eyebrows for the photoshoot. Then again I'm sort of surprised she even got a blonde wig for the occasion.

Looking at this photo again, I realized how awful the tail is. Did she buy? How much did she spend? I know it probably wasn't meant to swim in (god I hope it isn't) but there really is no shape to it. It looks like whoever made it just drew out a rough cone shape for the tail and didn't bother with mockups to make sure it looked right. The seams in the lower part look like shit and clearly weren't pressed with an iron.
 
That mermaid tail has SEEN THINGS, man...

She probably bought the cheapest one she could find :/
There are some really good ones you can get for 200-300 that you can actually swim in... The cloth on it looks like cheap velvet instead of swimsuit material... :cryblood:
 
At least the mermaid picture was from relatively far away. While it's not nearly as revealing, I hadn't really noticed the bags under her eyes until now.

She looks really upset, like she is trying really hard to not cry. Or it could be one her faces. Either way, it's a little concerning.
 
I think that might be the very worst possible angle for her to be photographed from.
