Not just ordinary baths, but JAPANESE baths. Which pretty much amounts to sitting in a dry tub, washing yourself thoroughly, and then rinsing. Soaking in hot water is optional and the last step. I don't think any "style" of bathing is superior or inferior as long as you get clean. PT seems unable to comprehend the "washing and rinsing" part and probably just soaks in the hot water.

In the US, those are called sponge baths if you don't soak in the water afterwards.

But yeah, you need shampoo to get the grease out of our hair since if you knew a bit of science, you would know that oil repels water due to the "like dissolves like" rule so just simply soaking wouldn't do shit.
