I also wanted to note that usually the most extreme of an artist's work tend to be the most popular work of the artist especially when the artist usually doesn't really make artwork like that. For example. The image of an Angel was favorited by the fetish community due to the fact that she's naked and doesn't have any arms despite it's intentions on that image being something else.

If anything, this should be an indicator of how fucked up and degenerate the 3dcg side of pixiv is. Looking through 3d models of machines to inspire your art? Nope, all you get is hyperrealistic cp induced nightmares. I can't use pixiv anymore because of it. While I used to enjoy scrolling through fanart of my favorite shows (I'm getting sick of western artist antics), it seems that eastern artists have this certain brand of inconceivable "fucked-up"ness that seems to pervade every tag of the site, even moreso than their western counterparts.

Worst part about tags is when there is fucked up fetish crap and it wasn't tagged properly. So despite having it blacklisted, you still see it. Not sure if Pixiv has this, haven't used it in years. Western artists ruined it for me.

It's not that I disagree with the sentiment here, I just think it's not the appropriate place to make a principled stand. I checked the comments expecting it to see other people who felt the same way and was surprised to see how many of this amputation/scat/tooth-removal fetishist's fans are apparently pro-Russia

There was one Chinese guy who thought that this wasn't an appropriate place for political discourse, and there's one guy who supports Ukraine (his favorites are kind of interesting because the first page is a bunch of pro-Ukraine/anti-Putin stuff and occasional fetish porn). Other than that it's a bunch of people who think that an artist who primarily makes amputation/scat/tooth-removal porn should use his page to make a point on the invasion of Ukraine, but that he should be in favor of it.
