everything I’ve ever wanted to rip I’ve found torrents for on either rutracker or cs.rin.ru. God bless russians for having such up to date and organized piracy forums.

Is gog-games compromised? Used a few games without issue but then postal brain damaged was doing some sussy shit and my GPU fans were cranking to the max. Downloaded a different repack from somewhere else and it didn't do it.

That's what a miner would do. A number of free VPNs have a collection of IP addresses of mining pools they block (if you turn on that feature) so you could see. Best just not to run weird shit that acts super suspicious though.

And obviously you could check network stuff manually but checking it against a bunch of mining pools usually catches something that's mining and sending it somewhere on the list.

I’ve never had a problem downloading from there. Just make sure the exe is signed by the publisher. Check it with virustotal and run malwarebytes to see if there’s any shit still lingering on your machine.

Thanks. I've long done away with it because I suspected a miner. I'm going to avoid gog-games from now on and would advise others to use with great caution.

Dunno if anyone else has mentioned it but the r/piracy megathread has some decent sources for books and movies/tv that always have been pretty good
Some of that stuff is outdated, unfortunately.

Is gog-games compromised?
I hope not. They're one of the few places that still has old games that are removed from GoG.

As per the thread on it being inaccesible, zlibrary's onion is http://zlibrary24tuxziyiyfr7zd46ytefdqbqd2axkmxm4o5374ptpc52fad.onion/

And while I'm here:

piracy.moe is a directory of weeb content.

The Aniyomi extension list is a list of anime streaming sites too, but you'll have to pull the sites from the names because that's not meant to be used by humans.

Tachiyomi, same situation, but manga. There's also hakuneko but I haven't checked it there's an easy way to pull the list of its sources yet.

AnimeTosho is nice for end of season binges. I think they do single episodes too but I don't keep up with things as well as I used to...

LightNovel crawler is nice if you want to read a novel later on the go or with text to speech or something. There is a downside where it generally scrapes from aggregators, and the aggregators add text to read on their site to the middle of the chapter (meant to protect them from other aggregators aggregating them).

Mobilism has ebooks and apks, but you need to register to use the search bar. Bonus points for there being guides to pirate Mobilism itself.

Damn, and to think I had to sneak into the TSIC to find that. Glad I'm not using them to deal with the internet splitting.

Could someone with an animebytes account tell me if they handle live-action weeb stuff? I'm subbing something and might want to put it up there personally rather than let someone else get the credit. It's just that I've let my account get pruned for inactivity too many times. I've even twice claimed to have been in prison to get it back.
