Does anyone have any particularly robust DDL website recommendations? I have been trying out Real-Debrid and the service itself is amazing but obviously it depends on having good sources.

So far I've been getting most of what I want from:

https://movieparadise.org/
https://hdencode.org/
and a little bit of stuff from https://twoddl.ws/

I tend to like older movies and documentaries that can get a bit hard to find sometimes.

I've also heard of a forum called Snahp(?) which sounds like probably the #1 option for DDL but it is apparently invite only and getting invite codes requires a donation. Does anyone here use it or know anything more about it?

I'm in it (simply got in at the right time, years and years ago, before they closed registrations permanently), but I can't give invites at the time. And yeah it's one of the best sources for movies and shows currently. But you need a MEGA premium account to really take advantage of it, more so now that Zippy is dead.

I can't share links from there, but if you're looking for something specific, DM me and I can probably help you in some other way.

Take a look at Rarelust, started out sharing old porn films, somehow evolved into one of the best places to get old movies (from 1930's to early 2000s). And porn.

This is not at all surprising, and it isn't uncommon to find pdfs for advanced texts hosted on the author's own website. After all, I don't think one writes an étale cohomology textbook to turn a profit.
In the context of this I read it as chomology and sighed as I flashed back to the 90s when professors published their weird shit and erotic fiction on their personal university homepage.

Where would you guys suggest if I wanted to download an artist's entire discography?

SoulseekQT and a good VPN. I use Anonine.
I use Nicotine+ https://nicotine-plus.org/ as the Soulseek client, it's FOSS at least.

Will I have an issue if I don't have a good music collection myself?
I hosted my own music (pretend it to be a "rare" collection), not blacklisted yet for the awful ratio XD
But if it's not on Soulseek, try https://free-mp3-download.net/. This is my combo to build a nice offline music library.

There is a weird overlap between hardcore movie nerds and old pornos. I'd bet a good chunk of money that Jay Bauman from RLM has a huge collection of 70s euro porn. Its always those kinds of movie nerds.
SoulSeek is still a thing and you can pretty much find even fairly obscure music (even encoded in a lossless format)
Its also the easiest way to find bandcamp rips.

Soulseek as others have suggested is great but it's P2P and some users unshared their collections if you're not sharing music of your own, some only offer it for trade (fuck these guys) and some are only rarely online.

My favourite resource is rutracker. Make an account, if you can get past the fact that it's all in Russian it's an insanely good resource for music torrents. Nearly everything downloads pretty quickly regardless of the number of seeders, too. Also has some obscure films and TV that you won't find elsewhere.

I’ll second rutracker.net. Really good for obscure and niche record label packs.

It depends. Rutracker is pretty good for many genres and artists, but you'll need to go to Soulseek for the more obscure stuff.

I still run torrents through a VPN.
1337x has been good for general purpose downloading. There's also metal tracker if you're looking for music that could be considered rock or metal. Metal tracker seems to have everything for the niche that they cover.

How do people manage upload speeds / amounts on a seedbox? I have a 5TB/month upload limit and would like to seed as much as possible while keeping some quantity for my own downloads from the server (say 1TB).

Best option I have seen so far is to set an upload speed limit at 4TB / (seconds / month) call it ~1.7MB/s in my client - wondering if there are other recommended ways of going about this.

I’m not sure about your seed box provider, but many (most?) do not count data exfil to your PC against your upload stats. Look in documentation for mentions of SSH, scp, or ftp. I know hostingbydesign allows free transfer.

I personally used my seedbox to only download content that I wanted until the end of the month, at which point I would turn on Autobrr to snatch items for upload until my monthly quota was nearly consumed. I think that limiting your upload speed would make it unlikely to use your entire 4TB quota.

Anyone have a good non-torrent site to download anime soundtracks? I'm trying to download the Hellsing OST, but it's stalled at 25%.
