SEASIDE PARK - The beach and boardwalk in Seaside Park have been evacuated due to a pipe bomb explosion in a trash can, which came moments before a major charity race was set to begin.

Official sources tell News 12 New Jersey that two unexploded pipe bombs have also been found.

Residents in the area are being ordered to stay indoors as authorities search the area for more suspicious items. The police response is now focusing on the area of Ocean Avenue and D Street, and no incoming traffic is being permitted into Seaside Park, only outbound traffic is permitted.

It's been too long since Jersey Shore was on tv for me to juxtapose a bomb and jargon from the show in some clever way.

One time at the mall a friend I was with spotted Snooki. I didn't see her because she's really really short, but I did hear her.
 
My family is down the shore right now, dad says there's cops all over our street.

My tumblr-ite SJW sister who I've complained about before says "no one seems that concerned they just found some "unattended bags" and now they're playing with bomb robots," because she can read the minds of police and is so brilliant she knows when someone is "playing" with a bomb robot.

Nah, knowing the shaw, someone's can of hairspray got overheated and burst in the trash.
 
This doesn't remind anyone of Boston a few years back?

People might have been hit if the 5k run wasn't delayed. 29 people got hit by a bomb in New York City on the same day, and another pressure cooker was found near that NYC bomb.

These sound like terror attacks to me. Very scary, especially since we don't know who did either of these yet.
