He’s building up a tolerance for it where he has to do more and more to chase that high. It depletes your catecholamines so it’s never enough but he can’t stop won’t stop until it runs out, then he goes looking for more. If he can’t get more (or runs out of $$) the crashout is miserable. That probably accounts for the long periods where he goes radiosilent,

It’s a nasty drug and the worst possible addiction for an obese 40-going-on-60 year old smoker with a cardiac history and I’m pretty sure untreated hypertension. Spikes your BP and heartrate to dangerous levels. He’s a stroke just waiting to happen.

I get it, but Jesus. If he's that low energy on coke, I can't fathom how bad it'll be when he runs out and doesn't have immediate access to more.

Speaking of the crashout because that makes sense, but what is the withdrawal like? (If there is any? I have no idea, and am kinda envisioning it as a prolonged burnout. While I doubt it's generally too severe, but what's the fucking point of even doing coke when you're so tolerant you could almost fall asleep in a chair during a stream??? Like, I get the addictive aspect and the constant need to keep doing it for long-dininished returns, but Ralph is basically flushing the come down the toilet with the effect it's having on him.

I think you’re giving him too much credit. Ralph doesn’t go out, much less whoring.

Even when Ralph has the money to order a whore via an app, he will usually order take out with her. The whores are the ones that finally insist on some sort of activity outside his shack that he will begrudgingly go along with.

He's taking more downers than uppers. This is generally how people end up overdosing.
Null better get the coffee can ready and have a contingency plan in place for Ralph's inevitably orphaned fur children.

Over 40 now, with zero physical health, smoking, drinking, a shit diet, has had seizures before, doing coke, addicted to Xannies and who knows what else. Whether or not he knows it this fucker's moments away from his heart calling it a day.

SATs do not score percentages, you could take your actual score and see where it ranks percentage wise.

Ralph is vaguely remembering his glorious elementary school test days. In AK they used Stanford Achievement Tests. Those are the kiddie tests that score “reading comprehension” and what the general percentage markers are compared to other kids in your grade.

Ralph is literally bragging about his elementary school reading test scores. It would be cringe if he was bragging about college SAT scores, but it’s so much worse to have to go back to your crayon days to brag about your intellectual achievements.

Gunt is reaching back 33 years, when 7 year old Ethan Ralph’s reading comprehension was better than 99% of other 7 year olds in Arkansas. Take that haters!
