The only interesting question is how long he will stay. He has finally got a look at the free accommodations he could leech from Delaney. He has every intention of making Delaney replace Sandra. All Ralph wants in a relationship is a woman to cover all the living costs so he only has to spend the money he begs on drugs, booze, cheap food and ballcaps.

People were speculating about that, but I don't think any evidence was provided. They are in the same place she's been streaming from for years.

I've not heard Scarlett say she's getting evicted (although I wouldn't be suprised if she does, she's too cracked out to remember to pay rent and her neighbors would all hate her) but she's mentioned a couple of times that the building's getting torn down, but I don't think anyone's confirmed that either. My impression is that he'll drive around aimlessly in search of more drugs under the pretext of obtaining "organic slice-of-life footage", then intersperse this haphazard recording with his own drunken accounts of what a few 100% real, off-the-record interviewees alleged about the Jer bear. He'll overlay this with some non-copyright music and call it a day. The frustrating, decidedly unglamorous labor of investigative journalism, the smoky environs of his 20-a-night motel room, and the copious drinking may combine to imbue the film with a faux-noir aesthetic. Yeah. It's just insane to me since it lasts for such a relatively short amount of time, relative to everything else, while also being so much more expensive. I get the 'constantly trying to recapture euphoria' and all that, but it's just nuts. Sure, meth or Adderall isn't quite the same high, but why not just stick with that when it's a hell of a lot cheaper and lasts more than 20 minutes?

It's one of those things that just don't make much logistical sense in my brain. Like fuck. If there are so many people who dive in nose first, knowing it's so pricey and doesn't last long, but do it anyway and utterly destroy their lives, why isn't this shit just better?

For example, heroin (or I guess fentanyl now). I know it's a completely different type of high, but I vaguely recall some quote along the lines of 'If sex is 6/10 on the pleasure scale, heroin would be a 10/10'. Except heroin is/was cheap as shit (idk, maybe? I don't really interact with junkies or delve into that world, so hell if I kmow), whereas people literally lose their houses to fiance their coke addiction.
