I can only imagine it's due to poor taste. Of all the people to alog, Aaron Imholte is a pretty boring choice. From what little I've seen of him (he's boring after all), he doesn't really seem to react to anything they do except for Melton's pedo shit. That ended up as a self own to Melton anyway because now everyone calls him a pedophile.

I get why someone would alog Ralph, he's got years of history and still does things sometimes. DSP has a daily show where he whines about video games. Chris Chan raped his mother and still babbles about god jesus sonichu nonsense. What does Aaron even do? Talk about the weather?
 
From the admittedly very brief time I followed the DV what I was able to gather about the Imholte A-logging was that at one point StutJo took the good advice for when you find yourself being trolled online and actually took a break from the internet for a few months, so all the DV has beens and never was' that started streaming purely to shit on John needed a new target. Aaron ended up being that guy. I don't know how exactly, but so far as I was able to gather the why is just because he's boring, he's unfunny, he's a "hack" (they say as if they all aren't hacks themselves) etc. So they all just converged on him.

I think the time they were focusing on Imholte also coincided with when his polycule with the Rekietas fell apart so that gave them extra drama to sink their fangs into, but I might be wrong on that.

The entire dabble verse is made up of former failed shock jocks and radio stunt boys, and their fans, that cannot come to terms with the fact that literally no one listens to radio anymore.

Stuttering John is easy for people to punch down on and compensate for their own professional and personal failures.

Aaron, whose claim to fame was one being the fifth most popular morning zoo show in 33rd sized market in Minnesota, pretty much destroyed his radio career live on air when he didn't get a job he wanted over a woman.

Imagine Cumia except it was a college radio station jock imploding.

Aaron can't seem to move on, just like the rest of the dabbleverse. And people hate looking in a mirror. Hence the rabid faggotry.

Aaron was introduced to large numbers of people in spectacularly embarrassing fashion (mutually cucking/potentially gay with Rackets). There were also many people who needed to cope with the implosion of Nicky Rackets, and did so by alogging Aaron.

Add to that the fact that characters like Melton and some others had in fact (no really, go look) been alogging Aaron and April for literal years before the polycule revelation, and you have a perfect storm of autism surrounding this poor guy who makes some really dumb choices but who does at least give off a vibe of trying to move away from these people (except when he fucks it up by repeatedly violating court orders, thus making him a legitimate cow, however boring).

Stuttering John is tied in with Opie and Anthony as well. That show lead to the Pests, which lead to the Pests buckbreaking Tomlinson for years. It’s all some kind of fucked up eco-system.

First Stuttering John alogs were all Cumia orbiters (Chrissie Mayr, WATP). O&A had this series called Jocktober where they made fun of shitty morning zoo radio shows. I imagine they targeted Imholte because he did his outdated radio show on Youtube with his boring wife as a co-host (which was a Jocktober trope).

It also helps that this was around the time Nick slithered into the Dabbleverse, so he was able to shift their attention to his ex boyfriend. They may have shit on Aaron before that but it seems like there was a huge ramp-up after Nick came around.

Sorry to derail the thread. Ethan should get fat again. He looks like he's attending his own wake.
