Maybe if there was some head or anoxic brain injury post-2020 but Scarlett demonstrated intelligence and discipline until she hit 18-19. She was valedictorian of her HS class, but seems to have crashed out hard upon entering the less structured world of college. She therefore decided to use beauty instead of brains and moved to LA to be an actress. It worked out as well as one would imagine and she was soon doing porn and escorting.

I’m assuming she entered the moral quagmire of thinking she could intellectualize and romanticize degradation and addiction as cool life experiences which is why she quotes Bukowski.

Sure. This is a typical problem when someone leaves a small town for the wider world and face real competition. It is why she crashed out of college and then moved to LA. What’s the saying, “LA is a city full of wanna be actresses that were all the prettiest girl’s in their hometown.” She was obviously ill prepared for the realities of the big, bad world which is why she got suckered into the porn industry.

This is true. Big fish in a small pond really screws with people in college. The top performer finds themselves in a position where all they had came naturally so when it comes time to lay down the hard work and effort many had to do to get to that point they get outpaced, frustrated, and turn towards drugs and alcohol to cope. It’s kind of like Ralph who got lucky and hit it big, but when competition and requiring effort came about it all fell apart. Ralph and Scarlet are both coasting off their past accomplishments and claiming the next big score will make them millions (this is mostly a Ralph claim) because they don’t understand how easy it was when things were given to them. So there’s always a “this will make it big” without understanding why they were big in the first place.

Usually students in small towns are smarter than their big-city counterparts. Small schools care more about educating kids than city schools. I had gone to multiple different schools growing up and I can confirm that city schools are garbage and they treat the students like livestock. When moving to a city, the most startling event was when a teacher found a school library book and was about to throw it in the trash until someone claimed it. City people are subhuman.

The tl;dw is that intellectually gifted children often struggle in higher grades and college due to them never adopting study habits. Once they enter college, they end up failing out since studying is mandatory no matter how smart you are.

LOL, that's not quite true even though I wish it was. Every time Ralph crashes out after his patented Ralphaspiral, there's an awkward period for a week or two where he's pretending to turn over a new leaf.

The most recent example being the post-'Fuck Mersh Rekieta Festival' disaster, where Ralph and Coke Rekieta were both trying to blackmail each other. Afterwards, Ralph swore up and that da Sektur was dead, he was done with drama, and he was gonna focus on fringe right wing politics. (Very convenient and not a cope at all that King Mersh thoroughly owned him by doing nothing but pointing and laughing at him, BTW.)

Now did Ralph change anything? No. Not really. He didn't dive headfirst into drama like usual, but his streams were the same boring shit they always were. Other than da ill-fated and longforgotten pilot he thought was gonna fix his life and provide him membership to the fucking Screen Actors Guild (FFS LOL), I guess he tried to act like a streamer slightly more. He'd attempt to interact with his audience for more than once every hour with something beyond random one-liners he'd spurt out to prove he's really paying attention and definitely not zoning out, looking at his phone the entire time.

Ofc, it never lasts long because of da gaylogs, spite, or some dumb shit like that because Ralph can't control the BPD woman that is himself. Ralph knows deep down he's practically unwatchable outside of ridiculous drama or pillstreams. He'll never admit it because his fragile ego can't accept his professional career died 6 years ago and it can't be salvaged to even 1% of what he was at in 2018-2019, money wise or fame wise. Oh, and obvious can't let da gaylogs thinking the're right. So he'll just cycle through like usual below over and over and over until he visits Sandra down there in black heaven.
