Imagine drinking and drugging yourself to near death for the viewers' entertainment, making a humiliating spectacle of yourself and showing off your grotesque body like a circus freak, only to see your audience dwindling steadily and the donos--your only source of income--with it, rapidly approaching levels which can no longer sustain even your poverty lifestyle and pauper living situation.

This is what I imagine a cancer patients feels like after undergoing a particularly rough and gruelling round of chemotherapy only to be told that the tumor keeps growing.

Ralph needs to go ahead and apologize to Gaytor. He was managing most of it already, so there's not much to onboarding necessary. Plus Gaytor will do it for free and it'll give Ralph someone to talk to during stream as well as a friend.
 
Killstream is so dead even gator wouldn’t come back. All of Ralph’s soldiers deserted him because they know it’s a ghost town.

I dunno, the "the walls are closing in" arc is subtle Kino. Even every day Ralph misses to stream adds to the understated bitterness of this. And the best thing is that YOU get to experience less Ralph.
 
He's spending less and less time online because he's going to move back to an unaffordable part of America (see: any part of America) and win custody of cozy Rozy, you'll see.
