After listening to much of the stream today, most of the ads have a common element to them: they're advertising goods and services meant for fat, dumb wiggers. I'm talking pseudoscientific diet hacks, bad medical advice about calorie uptake and how to eat more without gaining weight, coffee that costs extra because it's 'anti-woke', food to make your malnourished dog's poop less stinky, geriatric Chuck Norris' secret easy weight loss exercises, etc. You'd need to be a real idiot to take any of it seriously.

Thus, a fat, dumb wigger promoting these products and services to an audience full of other fat, dumb wiggers sounds like exactly what the vendors are looking for in working with a temporary pitchman. Ethan fits the image they want to associate with their brands, and as long as he doesn't pillstream on the same stream he's reading ads on, he'll be fine, at least for a while.

I am sure he'll find a way to screw it up anyway, given his extreme volatility, but some degree of trashy and vulgar behavior is surely expected from someone hawking these sorts of products.

I doubt it. Mersh had huge issues getting his ad reads approved for various little things. If he were to go off-script at all, they'd deny the read and then refuse to pay him out. If he read the ad read perfectly and then later in the stream say something they disliked, they'd deny the read. Ralph will probably have similar issues.
