His uncle knows the county is just going to end up auctioning if off at a tax sale in a few years because Ralph isn’t going to pay taxes. I’d also bet Grandpa Ralph paid for the land/shack in the first place so Ronnie wouldn’t be homeless.

Ralph seems to have a brilliant plan to somehow get a church built on it and solve all his tax problems. Ralph has drunk deep at the white trash rural legend about declaring your trailer, or equipment shed, a church and then magically never having to pay taxes ever again and he’s a gonna do it! He should also spray paint “farm use” on the side of his truck to cover all his bases.
