I don't know anything about that show, but the historical Claudius was considered an idiot for much of his life. His reputation saved him during the reign of Tiberius and the insane (alleged) sister-fucker Caligula who also famously appointed one of Meigh's equine ancestors as consul. After the assassination of Caligula, Claudius became emperor and turned out to be very competent - probably one of the top 10 Roman emperors. There's something ironic about this lolcow quoting a show about a shrewd man who survived many humiliations and ended up surprising his doubters and 'haters' when he was given a chance to shine.

Oh, and the person she is apparently quoting is Livia, who's often accused of poisoning her husband Augustus, the first Roman emperor, to secure the throne for her own son. The women of the first Roman imperial dynasty were infamous for their scheming and Claudius himself was poisoned by his wife to secure the throne for her son Nero before Claudius' biological son reached maturity. Maybe gunted ragepigs should be concerned when their wives start quoting such women.

I got a idea on how Ralph could get his paypigs to fund him. He could do the Ralph-lympics, he could do Ralphamania in the Coliseum with a event where he recreates the mauling of Christians by lions except it's the molestation of trannies by a rage pig, and he could even go back to his JCeaser roots by paying African women to let him mate with them live for his viewers or he could pay to let a African man peg his ass. Anything else but begging would fucking work.

Shitty community colleges (like the one Ralph went to) have students watch I, Claudius for their “ancient history” curriculum credit because their students are too fucking stupid to read actual classics or even the Graves’ novel. Never mind I, Claudius is “historical fiction”. Decent high schools have teenagers watch I, Claudius for English Lit or drama classes, but Gunt never went to High School.

But I’m guessing Gunt is only aware of I, Claudius thanks to deep diving Soprano’s lore since his mother was named Liva
