Few streams caught a copyright strike over the trial coverage yesterday. Whatever you think about the fat fuck, i think it's wrong that playing trial video (streamed by the court) shouldn't catch you a strike.

I don't wanna get into it all that much, as I detest defending the fat fuck, but the trial is public information and it's being streamed by the court, it's disgusting for anyone to try to copyright that video. That's shitty regardless of whoever is involved.

Assuming Kaz is being truthful about the reason youtube sent him, a "policy violation" isn't copyright related.
In general, playing a video you don't own on stream will only be a policy violation if the video in question otherwise violates youtube policies.
This would imply something other than restreaming the court footage...and given youtube's wild policy swings about weed usage over the years that is a logical place to start the speculation.

In some ways Ralph is following the path of a stupid, much poorer, white trash version of Lowtax.
