I think Ralph finally got brave enough to ask his lawyer plumber landlord about how one can procure a young girl from the poverty stricken southern states. Ralph has purchased enough prostitutes, esp in Tijuana, to know they almost all come from the southern states in Mexico. The luckier ones have connections who help get them into the El Norte to work as hotel cleaners, but many just end up working in the grim maquiladoras or in the Tijuana sex trade.

Ralph realizes he lives less than hour from the epicenters of the female sex trafficking fountain in Mexico, he just needed to figure out who to ask about it. Ralph is nervous around men, doesn’t speak Spanish and def doesn’t want to deal with a cartel connected types. I’m sure his landlord knew a guy who knew where on could get poor young girls ready to do whatever “work” was needed for very low prices.

What Ralph spent for a weekend in Tijuana could easily buy GFE services for a month from a poor local girl in Oaxaca, Tabasco or Chiapas. The friend of a friend would have advised Ralph on what would be expected money and gift wise to ensure regular visits from Señorita.

Ralph being Ralph decides the first one they get him a date with is his new girlfriend. He’s so lonely and pathetic he can’t help himself. The desperation for any IRL human companionship has reached its highest ever levels, he doesn’t even care if they speak English.

The fact she tries to clean his pig stye makes me think it’s part of the service. This used to be a common arrangement with US soldiers in the Philippines with poor local women, they fucked them and cleaned their apartments. Not sure if it was a bundled rate or not. But house cleaning, laundry and sex was part of the prostitution package there.

The Filipina prostitutes did try to establish real relationships with the johns whenever possible. The ultimate goal was to marry a serviceman and go to the states. This would also be the hope of any poor young girl from the poverty entrenched Mexican south servicing a gross old gringo.

The irony is that Ralph is also a very low tier rage hog, the one who most needs that residency permit. And talk about compensation and looking at the light at the end of the tunnel: he gets a "bitch" he can shag and might become a path for that residence permit while cleaning up his pigsty—just because she's so disgusted by it—while she's just probably keeping an eye on a chance to legally go to the US.

I hope both fail at their endeavors, although I pity the señorita.

I'm loving the dynamic here and I wish there was an AI app that could translate speech in real time.
