Phil does speak little (and I mean VERY little) Spanish on here but he does mix spanish words. It's cringy as shit and all I can say is: Spanglish is not a language.

Also, the fact that Phil needs either an "una" or "la" before the nouns (I'm not sure if it's before just one of them or both). Ironically enough, this is a very important aspect of Spanish and one that most high school students are taught early on
 
Son of a bitch. Every time this sperg uses Spanglish, someone kicks a puppy.

I'm sure toddlers in East LA have Phil beat in Spanish.

Phil probably wouldn't know what those "PISO MOJADO" signs mean if there wasn't English on them too. And pronounce it like "piss-oh moe-ha-doe" (with the "a" as in "bad").

Has anyone ever pranked called him in español, or sent him Spanish language books? I've got a few to get rid of and while it would probably be better to give them to a used book store where someone will actually USE them, part of me wants to taunt Phil with them just because.

My gut feeling is he'd burn them and then sperg out about kiwi hate speech and how people aren't taking his translatinxism seriously because he's a white passing Latinx, blah blah blah. That or he'd be suspiciously silent on the subject.

He does own a copy of Mao's Little Red Book, in Spanish, at least.

He'd probably just post a smug video where he destroys them to show what a badass he is, perhaps explaining how that's what he'll do to us when we carry out our home invasion.

What I would dearly love to see, however, is someone attempt Spanish conversation with him in public.

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that. It makes no sense as, aside from the fact that he doesn't speak Spanish and isn't trying to learn, it's not like Mao has any particular tie to the Spanish language in particular. Why not get it in Chinese? Or is that Phil thinking all PoCs just speak Spanish now because it's all the same to him? Also I remember him sperging on about how rare and valuable it is; it wasn't, there were in fact multiple places to buy it online, including Amazon, most were just on Spanish which Phil can't speak and doesn't look at.

Why not buy something by Che or Fidel Castro? The Motorcycle Diaries are pretty widely available in Spanish and English. Seems that's more appropriate for his image. Or does he even know who Che was?

It's just a prop to him. He is [pretending to be] Latinx, so he has books in Spanish to prove that Spanish is his first language.

I wonder if he's been called by los coyotes yet. Or those spanish scam callers claiming to be your uncle chewey or whatever.

Like it's a big thing, and not just in Mexico but here in the states too, I got one of those calls a few years back claiming to be my cousin.
