This is a pretty interesting tactic for the already established girls. They've given out ASMR throughout the years and for larger and more senior members it would work because these are going to be the people who buy from Phase's store even with the shipping issues, the whales.

For non established girls, new ones out of the gate? I don't think it would work at this point. She hasn't established enough whales or even viewers at this point. Don't know her PL, but I doubt she had a large enough fanbase to port over and immediately toss money into The Fish Sack like that. 🐟💰

I really hope someone at PCON sees this. The mermaid isn't an indie anymore (I'm assuming she was an indie before doing this) so doing the Discord member to MegaWhale pipeline isn't possible because she's not allowed to be as intimate with fans anymore Pretty sure Yuri got in trouble due to complications of getting too close to fans and staff via Discord and most ASMR girls do that and they do it because it works, people want the anime girl to continue talking to them outside of stream even if it's just text.

I think the loners who use it as warmth are at least more sane than the people who fall asleep to it. I find it extremely weird people can fall asleep with headphones on with weird ass sounds or moaning in their ears.
 
I mean if you have your mic settings the way that they should be, industry standard you should be able to do ASMRlite or karaoke at any time. IE, your settings are just automatically set to that.
Reverb should just be a setting in your mixer that you push and consults are pretty easy if you're corpo.
Well, I'm assuming all large corpo girls have this by now. It's money but only around $1k.
 
I don't get the appeal of ASMR either, the binaural thing is creepy to listen to.

I believe that's what Tomoe does. She knows that most of her audience don't like it so when she wants to do some ASMR she puts it in behind a paywall.

I don't remember who was the vtuber that did this (Pippa?) but they made a ASMR video as a joke and it was a bunch of loud noises, lol.

I could never understand that. Why can't people be normal and fall asleep to the dulcet tones of Warski and PPP screaming about Ralph like me?
