Peter Giessler, who goes by the name cmc--scootaloo (Archive) on deviantART, Fluttercheer (Archive) on Fimfiction and CMC Scootaloo on Derpibooru (Archive) is a MLP sperg who picks fights with other artists for innocuous things.
A recent example is attacking an artist for a single comment which he has taken out of context, and proceeding to act like he's in the right when the artist he has decided to sperg about responds.

He picks fights with artists and abuses deviantART's critiques option to give artists "reviews", in this he word for word says '[you incorporated] your own ideas and visions too much':

He first came to the attention of the pony fandom during the Drawponies "scandal" of 2015, in which it was revealed a popular artist was tracing screenshots of the show (find out more here) - he was white knighting said artist and coming up with ridiculous reasons as to why he did not trace pieces of work.

Probably the bright colors, the cheerful messages and the occasional moments of badassery. There's also a bit of a social stigma attached to it, which makes people all the more attracted to it.
Anyways, I feel like bronies are all the more autistic when obsessed over one or a few characters, such as with this guy or with Lily Peet. It's so limited and specific and as narrow as possible.
