So long as it's a pendulum we know it will inevitably swing away again. Until we have a long term solution to keep things right the best we'll ever manage is a brief reprieve.

Also I remember back in 2013 on Facebook when the Internet became more widely available people from South American countries started spamming child prostitution ads (it's their culture) and there was a continuing trend of 3rd worlders spamming vile shit that their culture deems acceptable.

The solution is that the Internet should be segregated between continents. But I wonder if zuckerbot has a plan to fix that.

doubtful, theres still a ton of gore on Instagram, videos with millions of views, thousands of likes and comments, yet they remain up for weeks
 
I feel as if the left/right divide is getting really fucking weird right now.
I've noticed a collection of strange occult ideologies flourishing among the former right wingers I've followed in the past... I can't really succinctly explain the ideology I'm talking about, but this weird website seems to illustrate many of the ideas I've seen growing among the "alt-right" or "right wing" people lately. Note how the website is anonymous and has some pen name as the author.

One important feature of this new age ideology is that they seem to demonize Christianity and/or they push a very Gnostic view of Christianity. I'm not a "practicing Christian", but I find this extremely odd to see flourishing among the right wing spaces. I've literally seen some online bloggers go from "conservative Catholic" to mushroom-popping Satanist in the span of a few months...

There seems to be a collection of new age ideologies that are being pushed very hard in online spaces, but they definitely seem to be taking hold among the "alt right". It almost seems as if there is an organized effort to brainwash people with a strange tech-worshipping kind of esoteric "new age" religion.

 
I don't think its genuine pendeullum swinging, at least not in the case of the tech people. My schizo theory is that Trump cut a deal with the tech giants such that he'd supply them with greater H1B slaves in exchange for fairer treatment in the algorithms/social media.

They loosened restrictions on his supporters for the election and he's rewarded people like Zucc with Indians.
 
I feel like TTD is finally within reach and I've never been happier. If we someday do a holocaust, I hope to god I get to be the guy who pulls the lever. It's my dream job.
