I'm patient enough to sit there and manually sort out every single off-topic post and push those into here without damaging the original thread. Even if someone wanted to intentionally do that, all that would happen would be that their posts would wind up here and no one in the original thread would notice it happened.

It would take them quite awhile to do it and get all the responses they'd need to shit the place up, and it takes seconds to fix it. They'd be more than welcome to completely waste their time if they wanted to.
