Paradise is a done deal

Current things from the party congress of the Greens.

They have - probably even unanimously - decided that the world shall become a better place:

The [party] program is a done deal: affordable rent, cheap renewable energy, investments into trains, in schools, the police, and our law enforcement offices.
Climate protection & justice, freedom & security belong together.
After this party congress, I'm full of confidence.

I'll go ahead and do the same thing now. I have decided that, every Tuesday there will be milk, every Thursday there will be honey, and every Saturday there will be money raining down from the sky.

Where the money is supposed to come from, they don't really specify. Or, how I liked to phrase it in the past: Here, the money is coming from the power socket. [as in, "where does electricity come from? electricity comes from the power outlet". Something that a Green politician has unironically claimed in public]

They're gonna go and get it from the "rich".

Ah yes.

Well well well, didn't you forget a tiny detail? You're welcome ☺️

Which proves that the Greens are a feminist party. They don't work, but are hard at work spending other people's money.

Life as a card carrying Green party member must be hell.

Fanciful pie in the sky outlook on the outside.
Existential dread on the inside. (It will all just work out, just believe)

The fences will also be made from sausages (vegan nu-meat of course).

Just watch. Whatever the result of the German election, one, the other or both of the main parties will end up creating a government where they partner with the green party and the green party retains control of the German economy. It doesn't matter who is voted for, the Green party and its economic policies will remain germany's policies. Even if the economy of Germany collapses.

I hereby pledge to make a 10,000 euro donation to the Internet Preservation Society (once they get their shit in order to accept foreign donations without legal risks) if the AfD forms a coalition government with the Greens.

The afD isn't going to be allowed to form a coalition with anyone. The afD will be reason that the other parties are "forced" to create a coalition with the green party. The "threat" of the afD, no matter how well it does, will simply be used to create a new coalition that will maintain the status quo.

I agree with your assessment.
But, first of all, all the other parties are already green. Especially the CDU is just pretending to have AfD talking points.
For years, the phenomenon is commonly described as "using your right indicator, then turning left"

that could not be enough if turnout is high enough...

I was reading that the CDU made a taboo because they said they would accept a law if it was voted on by the AFD.
Like even having the AFD vote for something is a no no in that shit country.

The CDU started hinting that they might change their mind on that a couple days ago. They are saying that they might vote together with the afD just on immigration issues. But they may be testing the waters to try something bigger.

The CDU are strongly responsible for this mess.
Their strategy can be summarized as "indicating right and turning left". It's always the case during election season. Do not believe their lies.
