#1. Dazzi, always liked this little gremlin, although I do wish I could turn off its ability so I can build at my base WITHOUT IT GETTING IN THE FUCKING WAY.
#2. Beakon, going through the game I naturally gravitated towards an all electric team (Jolthog, Sparkit, Univolt, Dazzi, Beakon) Beakons ability made for an excellent getaway driver.
#3. Jolthog, love this little guy. Had mercy hit on him, so I'd throw him at my foe and they'd be para'd which made catching easier.

#1. Zoe, blame the devs for this one, she's just the most fleshed out. Have her at my base and pretend she's watching over it and managing it for me while I'm away. (I swear I only have a little autism.)
#2. Bjorn, who doesn't love the "buff old guy who just wants a decent fight" archetype? Plus the fact he's just been training to stop the calamity is kinda based.
#3. Black Marketeer, look at that smile! :biggrin: Also thank you for the Star Fruits.

Ice is nice. Chillet is adorable. Bastigor's expression when doing monotonous work is relatable. Frostallion is just a really good boost mount.

Depresso boy and Harold are silly goobers and Saya needs some love.

Adjusted up or down motherfucker? I hate this style of patch note, let people know whether you've made it better or worse, easier or harder, up or down. Stop vagueposting in the patch notes.

Go ask them and give that feedback where it's actually going to be heard. The patch notes are probably just cobbled together mostly from commit comments, that or whoever wrote the notes isn't the same person that wrote the fix (or its commit comment) and isn't sure. It often doesn't matter; if the community cares about it though, they might go to the effort of noting that distinction in their tools from now on when they make changes like these. Otherwise it's wasted effort. Only way they'll know is if you tell 'em.

As someone who is addicted to pal fishing, I do agree that you shouldn't have to have an optimized team to do it. I like to think I'm pretty damn good at the mechanic, and I can't reliably catch anything above a normie in the worldtree without at the very least an upgraded Whalaska Ignis mount. I would really rather this game not turn into an endgame MMO where the need for optimization overrides personal preference.

It is still a pain in the ass and you need to dedicate your whole team to it to even succeed, and even then there's fringe cases where the marker spazzes out like it's on crack and you lose the fish
out of all the QoL they really should have added item pickup blacklisting ages ago, half the time I spent on fishing was wasted discarding coralite, ammo and organs
 
Also in the update they added a little quest for the Terraria Collab. It's nothing special, you go to Fisherman's Point and there's a dude with a green slime by the docks, and he gives you a quest to clear the dungeon. After you report back to him he mentions a schematic you get, and then asks you to use it at a summoning altar and you just have to dropkick the Moon Lord. They're called "Beyond Dimensions" and "From the Far Side of the Moon". I thought it would have something to do with the Xeno line, Selyne or maybe Astralym. But nah, it's just Terraria.

EDIT: Went to the World Tree and then saw

Man, I sure love when the game updates and traps itself in an infinite loading screen loop.

Now I have to figure out which mod is breaking what. Least this no sense happened on my day off…

And turns out it was just a corrupted save file. Ah well, my base building was scuffed anyway.
