I spent last night building a Chalet in the Windswept Hills. Curtains, carpets, decorative features. No function as a productive base, just a place for my character to "live." Even modified the roof to be a kind of impromptu landing pad/hanger for my flying pals. North, East, South, and West all have ports on the side of the roof you can fly into, an item retrival machichine to dump drops & automatically sort them into their proper storage downstairs, and a series of four shafts that will drop you onto each of the floors. I must have spent an hour tinkering with just the second floor bathroom attached to the master bedroom. Don't even get me started on how long I spent designing the safe and hiding it so the metal didn't clip through any of the other walls or joints.
I'm in the middle of it now, but I'm using the the best ore farm location (the one by the cliff you get by ) to build a Tron inspired (Legacy, not Troon Arse), early-to-mid level (resource-wise, furniture uses endgame materials), all-in-one base at the moment.

I haven't even unlocked decorative furniture sets (except Japanese one for bench-stacking exploit). All my "decoration" consists of nothing more than what the foundation section has. Hell, it's almost anti-comfy considering you can't even access the bedroom without a flying pal, or go down without a precise glider timing.

Your chalet sounds cool tho.

PS: Putting the Monitoring Stand by, & even moreso, in front of the bed, makes it look like the cuck command center.

sad news: broncherries do not work with the advanced breeding/hatching machine because the eggs never physically appear as pickups, I've had a regular and an aqua both at 4 stars in my party and batches came out exactly the same

I think thats where i just don't have the tedium to do the breeding. Condensing is fine but trying to cross breed skills is just to much autism for me to enjoy. I might just roll a team with good skills i find naturally and try my luck.
Surgery Table. You end up with a lot of disposable, high tier implants once you hit the end game area. Theres also several unlimited use ones you can pick up from the Bounty vendor in any settlement, and a couple from the Arena. Some passives like Legend and elemental damage increases can't be obtained this way, but what they give you access to is more than enough to skip breeding entirely if you want. Breeding has become pointless for me, I just give them the snip, soul, shove a bunch of roids and peachs down their throat, slap them with a crystal, then go kill the Celesidir duo with the Exp charm. Battle ready almost instantly.

I've used the surgery table exactly once to change the gender of my Jetadragon for my rocket ship breed experiment. I looked at the passives but they were all very basic, might need to read up on this. Mostly i just don't have the time to autism as i'd like. Full time job, full family and other shit it's my downtime on there.

bounty officers sell inifinite use yellow implants for 30 bounty tokens a pop, you want to prioritize musclehead and artisan and for those, the latter allows you to make serious-work slave-artisan-insomnia for base worker pals without aching about remarkable craftsmanship
arena vendor has serenity and some others

Hard Mode Final Boss down. Thank fuck this thing actually had some teeth unlike the pathetic ass tower bosses.

I recommend a full defensive/support set for yourself (Both Menastings, Silvangis, Aegidron, and a flying mount, all support passives). Took about 40 fully capped out Frostallion, 20 Noct, a few Aegidron and my Pathalus. Feed them all curry before going in, boostgun as many as you can while preparing the raid, and have a Plasma rifle, drone launcher, and several hundred Recovery Grenades ready. Your job is to be a healer. Bombard your pals with recovery grenades from the sky and do not stop unless you have to for survival. When she goes into the "attack the wings" parts, pull out the Plasma and help, your pals wont always get them on their own.

Half-way through, she's going to pull out a massive-ultra-mega-eat-shit-and-die-nigger lazer. This WILL kill every single pal you have out minus Panth, period. Run for your fucking life till its over, it WILL kill you if caught in it. Unlike other raids, you only get 1 life. You die, you're waiting 10 minutes for everything to recover till you can try again.

After this lazer, dismount and hope they draw her fire. Get your ass to the palbox, hit "retrieve all" and "yes", toss Panth back out and whatever reserves you have left. Go back to healing. Shortly after this point she should hit "gathering the last of energy" phase. Keep wailing on her and fucking pray your reserves are enough.

Hartalis Ultra is also down with largely the same group. +10 more maxed Noct since I had the peaches for it.

Have all your pals have mixed elemental attacks + dark. The element to break the barrier Hartalis puts up is random. I went offense build with Frost Noct mount, but I didn't need to actually fight due to saving my army from the "FUCK YOU" explosion AoE at least once in the fight. Spam Recovery Grenades at every opportunity.

Through out the fight, he will charge up an attack where you need to take cover. This will kill everything but Panthalus, but you yourself are allowed to die in this raid. If you can, "retrieve all" your pals and eat the blast if you can't get to cover in time. Its better for to die you than 49 DPS cannon pals. If you run Galeclaw like I do, its actually possible to glide to the edge of the arena and out of range of the explosion after retrieval, but you got to be fucking fast. 60-100 pals really recommended because of this stupud attack.

Panthalus will quickly get hungry in this fight and can actually KO from starvation. Even if you have to eat a death, get him in your party, get curry in him, and get him back out. He is a huge chunk of your DPS. You should only need to do this once.

Hartalis has two health bars. He will full heal after his first is drained. When he hits 1 HP a second time, he will do a scripted attack thats fairly easy to avoid. Afterwards any stray bullet will kill his stupid ass.

And with that, I'm at 100% once more, for like the 4th time. I really hope they add more content in the future, I'll keep coming back.

Tried Panthalus. Actually cancerous. Forced small arena, area-wide sweeps of AOE damage where your only recourse is flying or somehow getting above it? The fucking whale is a whole debuff on you because his model blocks the entire fucking screen.

I got really lucky by having a strong flying lightning type. I had two attempts and they went rather differently. One time he didn't really get close and kept getting interrupted, and the other he just kept flying up to Panthalus and landing his nukes, since he's so big all the thunder rail beams would hit for tons of damage.

Yeah I know the traits are kind of useless, got him from a mutated egg and didn't want to erase them.
If I didn't have that pal I'm not sure how you're supposed to interact with the fight though.

Anyway I'm in the world tree now and the grinding for this tier of resources is kind of getting to me, although to be fair I put in so many hours already that a bit of burnout is only natural. I'm grinding out a pal team for extra drops so I can eventually go grind holy water. Feel like I'm back in the early game before automation.

Yeah I got the shit end of the stick pal-wise because my "main" has been that big fire bird whom I actually really like the design. Guess what element takes more damage from water attacks? Time to grind out one of the thunder birds, I guess, or bring along a bred Grizzolt (whom I am actually breeding now so hmm.) My leafan has been surprisingly helpful in this fight, so I may just also purpose breed one to bring along as well.

After 1 hour of fishing I ended up with 6 blue, 2 purple and 2 legendary schematics for both plasma scatter and drone launcher each and bagged two legendary cold resistant ancient armor ones (which almost SANK because the game decided to prioritize picking up fucking coralite ore and pal fluids)
then I thought I'd maybe try for a blue or higher ancient helmet and in 3 hours of circling the river on Daybreak I got fuck all except entrails and diamonds, looked up the stats and it's just not worth it, time to start wrapping the main campaign up and get to hardmode bosses and arena

I've only tried it once, and lost mostly due to it unexpectedly shooting down my bird midfight, so rest I had to spend on my feet. That giant wave I was able to tank. Charge rifle does some nice damage, and it's so huge it's hard to miss. And it only won by timeout.

I just realized that Ladders are a thing in this game. I've been doing this Resident Evil puzzle levels of bullshit just to get to my bedroom for absolutely no reason like a fucking retard.

I literally unlocked thinking I would have some use for them instead of stairs to save space for 2-story bases. I wanna kill my nigger self (in Minecraft Palworld).

Maybe it's just me but Panthalus was fine to fight? I fought him with Neptillius, who was condensed to four stars using fruits, and it was pretty easy (I mean he was level 74 at the time because I gave him the level up shards you get from beating Moon Lord raid from the Terraria Collab). Hell I just fought him again and it was easy to dodge all of his attacks. I mean they SPAWN wind turbulence area at the little atoll and tell you to use it.

Just go on that white gust of wind, and boom.

You dodged the wave, no flying pals needed. I don't mean to insult anyone or call anyone an idiot for not knowing this or missing this. I just feel that the fight isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Honestly, having a water pal is better anyway because it boosts their movespeed in the water so you hit Jetragon levels of speed (with Neptillius at least). If you want a electric type swimmer you can fish up or catch a Solmora Lux at Sunreach. Which would be around the 70s level so it would be ready to fight the White Whale, Holy Grail.

time to go on a little murder spree, I hope it really doesn't require ammo at all

when the wave first came I was high up in the air on a glider far away from where they appear, with my Astegon slowly eating away at the whale
there was literally no way to dodge it

No ammo, but it's gonna be nearly broken after a few boss fights. Every hit it does saps the durability, and it'll hit over 1000 times in a single boss fight.

I wouldn't use it for farming because of how quick the durability goes, unless you got a bunch of AI cores prepped. You will probably never have to repair the other legendary gear. I put probably 5000 rounds through the Plasma Launcher while farming, and that fucking thing is still over 90% durability.

I'm at a stage where I have to constantly sell shit to just have some space in chests because every Pal in my base has 10 in the relevant manufacturing skill, repairing won't be an issue

Yes. Frostallion/Noct have the 2nd and 3rd highest base stats behind only Panthalus. They're ideal for army building.
The 1 Panth you're allowed, load up with pure attack passives and nothing else, he can't be hit when used as a base pal, he's just a giant auto turret. You can give him both World Tree atk passives since his def/HP are irrelevant.
Passives on my Frosts are Demon God/Musclehead/Legend/Serenity, with some having Immortality in the place of Serenity. As Pierre said, avoid the move Absolute Frost, its absolute dog shit *bum-dum-tsst*. Rains/Breaths/Spikes/Tornados tend to be the reliable moves, and multi-hitters are very good at restoring HP for any running Immortality/Vampiric.
You should only need a handful for regular Xenolord. Just 3 of mine would absolutely murder him.
for minimal upkeep you'd probably need serenity and vampiric/immortality so they can hit more often and have some sustain, then use the good ice attacks like crystal breath, blizzard spike (hits twice), icicle line (also hits twice) or diamond rain
absolute frost i found to be too unreliable like apocalypse

Thank you both! I'm running Steam via a winebottler (incredibly unideal) so I wasn't considering attacks because I can't see anything on the screen but a mess of colors. Have amassed an army of fully condensed and awakened Orzerks to attempt Hartails and am working on Frostallion now. Inadvertently ended up with about 30+ fully condensed Aegidrons since the eggs mutate so much. I sort of want to turn damage up since I'm kneecapped by my hardware, but that feels like cheating on normal difficulty. Might cave eventually.

I wouldn't blame you if you're on lower end specs. I love this game, but I'll be one of the first to admit it is unoptimized as fuck. I had to drop my settings to low and still had severe FPS drops during the last two bosses that were fucking with my aim. I can run graphically intensive games over 100 FPS generally, this game just has so much going on all the times that shit like raids become a struggle for most hardware.

I've just made the dumbest ground mount via mutation breeding. The ancient hatchery has really taken a lot of pain out of this. Celesdir Noct with three jumps, swift, and idiosyncratic. It's worthless. She's beautiful. I've named her Nega Suicine.
