well shit, good thing i have the ancient superbreeder 9001 already built and stuffed with thousands of cakes then
do you get water from fishing as well, as stupid as it may sound?
You can, but from the less rare fish. The purple glow ones with typically drop tech books, work books, the valuable “sell these” items, and high level schematics.

EDIT: the whales make the gauge more full at the start, Gloopie widens the “fish meter”, and Jellette increases drops via fishing.

I do like that there’s a set of Pals to carry around to get the best results out of almost anything.

Want to make the most of salvage? There’s a Pal Team for that.

Fishing? Pal Team.

Relic farming? Pal Team.

Strength a particular type of Pal? Make it so you do massive damage all on your own? Only use a bow and arrow?

All have a Pal lineup to maximize the effectiveness

Getting holy tree water is possible with fishing but they best way so far is by doing the Dusty Ravine route a la https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iecXJ8dL_W0
Honestly if your computer can handle 3x spawns, this is defacto the best grinding spot for everything but particular element gems and souls in mass. For souls, the area were the Celesdir bosses spawn is the best. Wisteria drop smalls, Tetroise drops larges and on 3x drops 3x spawn you can get 5k+ smalls in about 30 minutes.

Dusty has bigger and more consistent spawn density, so relics and waters come easier there. I find Mimog to be far more consistent in Dusty than anywhere else as well. You're gonna need a metric fuck load of Stat Fruit, and a medal merchant is the best place to get them. I have multiple copies of every legendary schem but the helm at this point. Helm only spawns from high treasure maps, but the defense bonus is so small its not worth seeking out imo. It's not like the armor where you're getting an attack and defense boost with each tier upgrade.

How do you guys have the time to just casually beat it and have end game farming. I only just got a lazer gun i tried fighting Auri and got my arse handed to me the water levelling is obnoxious.

So I unlocked my third base, already have a base with summoning altar and breeding ranch then another for mining and with the expedition facility, what should my third base be focused on?

Ranch with all the Pals that drop materials.

It's not apparent early on, but yes, what @SteelPlatedHeart said. The true limiter on your expansion becomes not stuff you can mine or clearcut, but the fucking organs which you need a ton of especially once you reach the "modern" era. Luckily, ranching isn't the only way, but it's certainly one of the easiest. You can also just farm gold and buy them off merchants if that's more convenient for you.

Have you been upgrading your armor and attaching accessories?
Yep, i have a legendary schematic for my armour, next tier above plasteel Haven't found a ton schematics for accesories but i have a few i've upgraded the wandering merchant pendant is really helpful.

Hundreds of hours of experience + a full condesened Galeclaw from my GPalbox as my "New Game+" reward till I hit end game. I can never overstate how goated a 4* Galeclaw really is, especially with the grapple/jump boots combo.

Compared to how much heavier the entire grind was back in early access, default settings with all the new tech and QoL features is practically a speedrun even going in blind. I'd say about 50-60% of the partner skills that exist now did not exist then, which also makes a big difference in how quickly you can get things done. There was barely even any team synergy like there is now. Expedition rewards were a lot shittier and nowhere near as useful, and it took longer to get decent pals to get it going worth a shit. Now its an extremely valueable asset throughout an entire playthrough.
Condensing/breeding was a much bigger nightmare as only 1 singular cake type existed and it took over 100 pals to fully condese. Things like books, star/stat fruits and dog coins were much, much harder to come upon. Back then, even being end game didn't aleviate a lot of the grind. Making a perfect pal took work and lots of breeding, even at that point. Now you can take a pal or 3 from 1 to fully maxed with perfect passives in a 30 minute grind session. That difference is really the best contrast between then and now imo.

400 hours I've dumped into the game during early access, knowing what's where, what works and what doesn't and even despite that I missed like 70% of the QoL changes, also my nigga Hangyu got buffed so he is indisputably the best glider Pal available now
my party is all alphas, fully condensed, awakened, enhanced and equipped with the best attacks whereas previously I had to settle for one Lovander with 4 Cremi/Ribbunnies that had whatever passives because new breeding passives, surgery table, skilfruit orchard, implants and new cakes made tweaking a perfect Pal actually feasible and not suicidal-thought-inducing
they also made it so neutral is actually neutral and has no offensive weaknesses and hits for 100% damage against every other element, including dark which makes Air Blade probably the best bossing attack in the game (provided the boss is boss sized)

I think thats where i just don't have the tedium to do the breeding. Condensing is fine but trying to cross breed skills is just to much autism for me to enjoy. I might just roll a team with good skills i find naturally and try my luck.

The real struggle i'm having is getting enough tech points to unlock the ancient stuff to progress now. I did get the terraria sword that everyone recommended but i need a few more schematics to make it the legendary status.

Breed & Blend Omascul up to max Masquerade. Crank world exp gain up to max. Teleport to every sealed realm and Alpha spawn and beat them. You will take your party from 1 to 80 in about an hour.

My Minecraft base-building autism is taking me places in this game that I never thought I'd ever remember.
I spent last night building a Chalet in the Windswept Hills. Curtains, carpets, decorative features. No function as a productive base, just a place for my character to "live." Even modified the roof to be a kind of impromptu landing pad/hanger for my flying pals. North, East, South, and West all have ports on the side of the roof you can fly into, an item retrival machichine to dump drops & automatically sort them into their proper storage downstairs, and a series of four shafts that will drop you onto each of the floors. I must have spent an hour tinkering with just the second floor bathroom attached to the master bedroom. Don't even get me started on how long I spent designing the safe and hiding it so the metal didn't clip through any of the other walls or joints.

Damn, I thought the item retrieval machine was only one way (out). Had no idea you could use it to dump shit in.
