I kind of confused by this guy. I remember him starring in the "Gay Town" series about 10 years ago, where he played a straight dude living in an all-gay town and pretending to be gay.

Now he's some anti-gay loon, who nicknames himself "bear", which is a gay subculture.

Did he drink the alt-right water contaminated by gay frogs, or is this some kind of Andy Kaufman-esque performance?

(Also, he was never married to Christina Ricci - they had a short engagement and then broke it off)

It's his own repressed homosexuality lashing out at others. Everything Owen uses as an insult he is saying about himself too. Owen calls people he doesn't like "lolipops fancy pants" because his mother made him wear homemade pants that said "hi" and "bye" on his ass cheeks. He was beaten and pissed on by the other kids cementing this insult in his head.
