I don't care about Phil, so I don't care about the status of his section, locked or unlocked, but deliberately baiting him seems kind of contrary to the way we're supposed to be doing things. If he's on the verge of falling apart without any assistance, why agitate him and provide him with an easily-blamed villain? Let the milk be organic. It's better that way.
 
No. He's lost all friends and his financials are drying up, and having an open forum will just bring them back. I want to see if he'll end up homeless without the farms.

As much as Phil being freely able to see the section would probably cause him to spaz out a bit, it would also validate his claims and give him something to latch onto. It might also put at risk some of the deep undercover socks that have access to him.

Although, in the end I really don't give a shit. Phil is a piece of human garbage either way.

I kind of like dangling a random featured thread every now and again though, but not the whole section. Just enough to make him sperg out but not give him the 24/7 access to people talking about him.

I'm a No vote as well. Ravenor has inside information as basically his entire sock drawer has gone to populate Phil's increasingly tiny friends list. If he says there's crazy enough coming without reopening the thread/subforum right now, I trust him.

"Ooops some settings got changed and a mod didn't catch it for a few days!" sounds like a plan to me. ;) I've always been of the opinion that direct interference with a cow (trolling and whatnot) isn't as useful as just letting them see they're being watched and documented.
 
I'm in the "No" camp. Philth still does something stupid at least once a week, so the content is there. Public visibility WILL result in generating income for him and bring back the asspatters who have gone away. But if you want to poke the beehive, just make the thread about the bouncing and squeeking video public and lock it down immediately after he posts about it.
 
I vote no. The Phil content drought is because he set most of his accounts to private. He knows there are kiwi socks on his friends list still so if we make the forum public, he'd see who's been leaking content and we'd lose all those sources. The only upside is I could see us getting more Phil/Greta crossover because he'd go shrieking to Shrek immediately LOL.
