My young coworker caught me mumbling the "litty again" tune while wiring a panel. I've never even heard the fucking song before. It's just whenever I'm doing repetative shit, I start mumbling it.

Every healthcare worker I've ever dealt with has the ability to compartmentalize shit to an insane extent. I was once doing electrical engineering work for a juvenile oncology hospital and how those doctors and nurses don't just immediately walk into traffic is beyond me.

I highly doubt that Blade was even the most fucked up, homeless bum they dealt with that hour.

I have a lot of family members who are nurses and physicians and you just don't take it personally. You eye is the end of your shift and your bed once you get home

Yeah I think he did, if we can consider the pocket watching that was conducted as valid. Even with a thousand dollar payout to the hotel he should still have scooted back home several thousands in in the black. Real medical work for the hoof could be very expensive, but he's probably just getting the absolute bare minimum at the ER and foisting the cost onto medicare.

People ITT estimated he made at least about $8k during his stay/bender, so the fee wasn’t that big of a loss. It’s not like Oyo is one of the price gouging name brand places on the strip that charges $250 a night plus a “resort fee”.

Medical bill collectors must hate Blade though. There’s no way he paid for the leg draining he got in Missouri.

Someone mentioned it recently but fucking IMAGINE being the poor soul who had to sit next to Blade on that flight with his mangled, stained, rotting, leaking hoof. Imagine that shoe bumping into your leg and leaving some of the ooze behind. All before the plane has even taken off.

I'm totally confused as to why Blade was surprised he got charged $1000 from the hotel. Even the shittiest hotel in Vegas is not keeping a mattress stained with that much body fluid. Between the urine and the stump juice anything he slept on has to be tossed as hazmat/bio-waste. Chances are he was leaking all over the carpet as well.

There are specialists that clean up suicides and crime scenes in hotels but they aren't cheap at all. I'm at a loss as he thinks he can just contest this with his bank.
