Let's take an elevator ride with Blade. What a pleasant guy. Not a complete mouth-drooling retard.

Yeah, I wondered about that too. At least he had Peggy to squawk at him and say hateful comments to keep him from drinking, now he has no reason not to. I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t at least end up in some kind of health emergency or legal trouble within the next few months. He’s been mostly wrangled for the last few years and he’ll end up doing something retarded to rebound.

Used to date a girl getting her neuropsych doctorate. She was studying alcoholism and they paid local bums to study them.

They had this one dude who drank like five or six of those giant Colt 45 malt liquor cans a day and had done so for like 25 years.

Just like hard drug users some chronic alcoholics are shockingly resilient.

You keep expecting them to die and they just fucking don't for whatever reason.

Any kind of drug addict can be blessed/cursed with the "won't die" genetics, but I don't think Blade's that lucky. His diabetes is a major debuff.
