I think he's just wrapping it himself and putting iodine on it. It doesn't look like dried blood to me, but more like dried antiseptic.
The hospital would not do this btw, nor would anyone need to do this if the wounds were closed.

Hence, his wounds are open and he's trying to disinfect and change dressings at home. What we're seeing on the bandage probably isn't blood or pus though. It's either antiseptic or edema leakage.
So he's either fucked his amputation up or has severe edema on top of it and his kidneys/liver are fucked.

basically dude's a walking corpse at this point.
 
I’m not an expert, nor am I trying to be. But in the few cases of amputees I’ve seen online not named Brian Risso, the location of the amputation has not looked like that.

It did not look wrapped the way he had it, the bandages don’t look splashed with 3 different colors and like I said last night, they certainly didn’t smear old spice on it to freshen it up.

I’m not going to make wide sweeping statements cause I’m often wrong but it didn’t look good from the perspective of a layman.

It could be the best dressed wound of all time and I don’t know what I’m looking at but if he were a friend, I’d say he needs to figure it out Nig- I mean person.

Amputation wounds are supposed to heal and not leak fluids months after amputation.

The human body has a miraculous way of self healing and recovery after trauma.. that is, unless you abuse it chronically. I truly believe his body is working against him with this “healing” process at this point, and I can only imagine how it’ll continue to heal from here on out with the Good Ol’ Old Spice treatment.

That would be plausible (that's thereabouts the color of medical iodine) if it wasn't Blade saying, and we didn't already know from multiple eyewitnesses that THE STUMP FUCKING SMELLS BRO.

Oh, I typed the above before I saw the posts with the deodorant. Blade himself demonstrating that he's Spicin' the Stump says it all, really.

I guess it's POSSIBLE that the color is disinfectant, ineffectually poured on top of way, way too old wrappings, but the smell conclusively tells us that whatever he may or may not be applying is not being done so effectively.
Of course he could clear this all up neatly if he just showed us the genuine article...
