I am ruling out #4 because that would be excrutiang.

So that leaves the other 3 conditions.
Disagree on Charcot necessarily being painful; that whole problem starts from not having sensation in the foot. No cues to adapt his gait to the environment, no foot pain warning him to rest or offload or seek help.

It can end in the ludicrous situation of someone who feels weakness and malaise "for no reason," and then when they finally see a doctor it turns out there's an oozing foot wound you could stick a can of Zyn into. Huh, didn't notice that.

edit: multiple pairs, he thankfully hasn't been walking around with a shitty / bloody ass all night
Imagine the stench. I wonder if he sometimes does that days on end. He must smell like a gas station toilet filled with cough syrup.

I'd rather drink Malort or Yukon Jack than that shit.

Blade attempts to reverse the scooter out of the hotel room to go for a cig break. I was fucking dying editing this. Classic scooter content.
That's actual brain damage. He doesn't realize how to drive a vehicle in reverse. The part of his brain that understands that died.
He asked geezer for "jager, two cans of sugar free redbull and menthol newports" who is currently putting his shoes on to go drive claiming he has only had a "double shot" and he is "good to drive"
If you are going to smoke nigarettes, I suppose Newports is about as niggerlicious as you can get. Other than maybe Kools.

Yeah he wouldn't be anywhere but on a hospital bed in an ER on a (legit) morphine drip if it was that one. This is cellulitis or CVI for sure. Either infection or inadequate blood supply. I'm sure it still hurts, though. I doubt the alcohol's enough to make that pain stop entirely.
My brother is a pathetic alcoholic much like Blade, who surprisingly hasn't developed diabetes yet even though there is a history of it in our family. He had a bout of cellulitis a few years back. The calf of one of his legs swelled up and turned red over the course of several days. He told me that he was sure it was getting better. I touched his calf and the skin was as taut as a drumhead and extremely hot. I told him that I thought it was getting worse. Later that night, his calf basically exploded. It looked like raw hamburger. They sent him home with a Wound Vac. My mom had to change his dressing twice a day for weeks, or else he would definitely have lost his leg because he is so lazy and filthy.
