But just in case it is even a little true that you care about him, @JimJimJim, you'd be helping Phil far more by not giving him money. The only chance of redemption that I could see Phil having would be if he was forced to grow up and stop being an entitled manchild. And that would only happen if the gravy train stopped.

Absolutely, but for me at least, it's entertaining to hear him try and justify it. I admit, it's sincerely petty on my part. Maybe this is tinfoil hat, but to me it seems like OIC really thinks he's pulling the wool over people's eyes that he's just attention seeking and he thinks he's actually manipulating us. But he's so bad at it, and the more he fails to get that narrative, the wilder his posts become. I guess it's like a written equivalent of TIHYDP.

IMO, OIC is normally boring. He's a repeat of so many dedicated paypigs we've seen before, but with none of the "flair" that made the others interesting. Even his recent "compassion" speal is almost identical to something BSV would say on here back in the day, but at least then we'd also get demon summoning and butler jokes. Hell, now that I think about it, we even had someone like Gary in those threads shitting it up in the form of KoP.

I know we're technically feeding into his ego by responding and we're not going to get legitimate responses, but I dunno, I personally don't care if OIC is enjoying himself as long as we're getting some laughs from him too. No matter what, he'll be doing mental gymnastics to convince himself he was winning. Although, I do think the fact he had to come back here means he's in that phase where he's unhappy with the minimal attention he's getting from Phil/chat. Seems like that's the only reason he stumbles back here from time to time. Guess that's why he's been trying to push the fiance/dog/bodybuilder/crypto investor narratives in the Phil channel.

As far as I'm aware the real OIC has never actually posted here. But he is almost certainly reading here, because internet people running around is what he enjoys. So, here's my advice to OIC:

Tell Phil how you feel already.
There's no scenario where the two of you just "grow together" - if there were, it would already have happened by now. If you're waiting for the moment to be perfect, the moment is never going to be perfect. There's always going to be something more you could do to lay the groundwork, some perfect speech to write up in your head, some grand gesture to choreograph. But the truth is, you're a known quantity to Phil by now. If he's going to accept you then he's going to, and if not then he's not, and there's nothing more you can do to change that. All this delaying just means you'll be that much older when it's all settled one way or the other. You'll wish you had spent that time either building your new life together or moving on.
Just lay it all on the table. Tell him exactly what you have in mind for sharing life with him, whatever that might be. He surely already has an idea of how you feel, so just get it out in the open already.
I'm not going to say something like "No worries, it'll be fine, bruh", because it'll be terrifying. But it has to be done and in the long run you'll be glad you did.
