I can't for the life of me remember what episode a certain chris story is from. All I remember is him talking about a high-school bully of his, and then explaining how one day he whispers "I think you'll understand what this is", before handing him a drawing of his lion oc with the text "Final Fantasy: The Next Chapter" below it. I have no idea when that was mentioned, and I want to know because for some reason thats one of the funniest fucking things i've heard. It's up there with the living nightmare for me.

i remember that too, but because i am a perpetual disappointment i do not remember what it is from.

Somewhat related to Oneyplays, but only extremely tangentially.

I'm debating on whether I should make a TheBestGamers thread because despite being old, the drama is still extremely juicy and not talked about. Apparently, one of the guys involved (Gamzerguy) faked his own death for three months. Another person, Karnivore88, seems to be stalking DingDong and trying to rile shit up on 4Chan, despite TBG being long-defunct at this point. This is the tip of the iceberg.

The thing i've always found puzzling about Chris is despite being Wexford born and raised, he has this odd American twang to his accent (even before he moved to the states). I'm wondering does he just put on this accent for his videos or if its genuine. In a way he's kind of the opposite of Jacksepticeye who exaggerates his Irish accent for his primarily American audience.

My cousin went to secondary school with Chris as well. He was about 3 years below him though and all he can remember about him was that he was brilliant at art.

It sounds like Chris went to America often from a young age based on his stories and may have even spent extended time there after he left school. Also people tend to blend their accents based on the people around them listen to Rubberninja Ross when he leaves America for an extended period he picks back up his Australian accent.

English speakers who emigrate to other predominately english speaking countries and live among the english speakers there tend to pick up bits of their new environments accent over time. It's not uncommon to see australian or british/irish immigrants lose their accents over a ten year period (see: Ross and Chris who have been living and working here for over a decade). Theyll keep a distinct accent but at some point it becomes a blend. RubberRoss is an especially good example because he had a pretty thick australian accent up until a few years ago

Is TheBestGamers guy talking Dingdong? and who's the XXXX guy? Finding out about drama from a already niche group is apparently pretty hard.

Could be that he hung around a lot of Americans or watched a lot of American media (I mean an inordinate amount). A lot of the guys I grew up with have an odd Canadian/Californian accent because we all grew up watching a shit load of media made there.
