contrarian here, Lyle and Cory are the only funny guests and it's really funny when you make unoriginal tomar jokes so let's make that the entire thread instead
I can't wait until the spin-off of OneyPlays - Lyle & Cory's Transvestite Appreciation Hour!

Also Tomar is a horrific war criminal, and he beast Jaxxy, and he has the Tomar emeralds, and he lives in Tomartopia, and he wants those monkeys off out streets, and look Tomar it's you.

What the frick are you talking about Lyle is the bad boy of Oney Plays, he's totally like Rudy in the Monster Squad just like older and more swollen.

Lyle watching a guy get run over by a train and doing nothing is probably real since he admitted in a Vinesauce collab he saw a guy make out with a baby and didn't say anything

I have a terrible Tomar joke for you.

I used a shitty prompt to create an even shittier song about Tomar. Enjoy the AI slop.

Tomartopia, how I love thee!
Thy borders span from sea to sea.
Thou smokest too much weed.
Emerald shining bright!

[chorus]
Spaghetti, spaghetti, delicious be.
Tree star, green leaf,
Tomartopia, my heart’s with thee!
[chorus]

Land of smoke stacks tall,
With mango farmer’s call,
Tomar loves all!
Every bald man in sight.

[chorus]
Spaghetti, spaghetti, delicious indeed.
Tree star, green leaf,
Tomartopia, my heart’s with thee!
[chorus]

Five Guys and Popeyes,
Going straight to my thighs.
I am Tomar, very wise.
Everyone knows I'm in disguise.
Two of you, one of me.
Tomar, every bald man be.

[chorus]
Spaghetti, spaghetti, delicious be.
Tree star, green leaf,
Tomartopia, my heart’s with thee!
[chorus]
I fucked up the chorus a little bit, but that’s ok. It adds character!

I will say Lyle is a politi-fag on twitter and he moved to bluesky only to move back to twitter since bluesky makes it even harder to promote your content for being a more retarded twitter. I chuckled at the flute guy joke though, south will rise again.

Lyle has this annoying habit where he thinks he has some good line or something during a bit that doesn't involve him and then just aggressively starts shouting it over the others until he is done. If it's a good one like "I am just ordering from the menu" during that super computer hypothetical then w/e, but often it's just obnoxious, unfunny and annoying. He doesn't have as good comedic sense to do cynical rebuttals as someone like DingDong did for example. He also refuses to play the serious straight man that gets goofed on like Jeff, even Tomar is better at knowing when to chime in with something and be consistently funny and Tomar isn't even trying to be that type of guy.

The best feature of Lyle on the show is that he is not fucking terrible at some of the games they play so he can make a series last longer by not getting stuck. But that is also a point against him as a host, because the episodes would literally be better if he just shut up and played the games. For me the ones where he says the least are usually the best ones he is in.

Should be in the game grumps thread but I want to talk about the Dream Daddy situation again
This video reminded me of Dream Daddy and made me think, "Why didn't Ding Dong and/or Julian talk to Arin directly instead of livestreaming a hit piece 1 month before the game was suppose to launch?"
Yeah, part of the blame is on their former peers encouraging Ding Dong and Julian to speak publicly about how performative the game was, but it was their decision to not talk to Arin directly that they didn't like the direction the game was taking. Realistically, Arin wouldn't have done any big changes, just say "ummm... we're too close to the deadline to make any changes... I could add a disclaimer when people launch the game?" I don't know Arin, but I doubt he would've gone "So, you HATE MY GAME DO YOU!?! You'll NEVER find a job in California now! I'll have my lovelies dox you too! You made a very powerful enemy Ding Dong and Julian!"
I believe they did get blacklisted for this, but also, what kind of company would hire or partner with you, if they know there's a chance you have flipped on a dime and tried to sabotage another company?
I do get that most of this was hindsight, I know that Ding Dong and Julian were at the height of their popularity, and never thought at one point in their lives, were expected or pressured to "Make a statement, make a change!" They never really got experience to know when to use their voices to make a serious statement against someone.

I only included avatars I recognized. It was actually easier to break them into categories than I expected
S - I am there with bells on, I love these guys
A - Consistently funny or good in bits (Jon being there because despite having like 2 episodes I know he's funny)
B - Generally decent, funny enough that they don't feel like a drag
C - Middle of the road, either largely inoffensive or their funny and unfunny balance each other out
D - Unfunny, I have to ask myself if the episode is worth turning on
