They spend most of the time talking over the game and making jokes that have nothing to do with it...
Because it's a boring walking simulator that is trying way, way, way too hard.

I get the impression they feel bad for the developer and don't want to shit on the game, but it provided maybe ten minutes' worth of content before it farted out.

It's like the dev just wanted to make a bunch of low-poly assets because they like the aesthetic but didn't have any big gameplay ideas. I could probably watch the trio play anything at this point, though, especially after 3 months of nonstop Sonic and Dark Souls.

This is what I tune into Oneyplays for, to be fair. I mean looking at the game, there's very little to talk about so I'd probably be making Donald Duck noises and talking about Family Guy as well

It’s funny how after DD had his meltdown and left, the Patreon received almost no updates for 6-7 months. He left everyone paying him $10-50 a month in the dark because he was too scared of the interwebz. There’s also been a bunch of other large gaps in updates throughout the years. Feels like they know people will stay loyal since they’re the lovable “Oneyplays boys” despite how much they claim to hate that title.

This shit have been going on for so long that I have honestly no idea how people can be this loyal towards them. The DD and Julian fanboys really are a bunch of battered housewives

You see this with eceleb patreons all the time. Months with no updates, shitty behavior, sometimes even years with nothing to show for all the money they get handed out but people still fork over dollars every month because they're emotionally attached to people who wouldnt piss on them if they were on fire.

Paypiggies are a different breed.

Just let it die, holy fuck. There hasn't been a Pushkinti video in four years. It wasn't funny in 2017, it's definitely not funny now. How is the OneyPlays fanbase so good at running these retarded jokes into the ground and never letting them go?

People, even me like to act that this fanbase is better than most but in truth the Oneyplays fans are on the same level as Game Grump fans or Videogamedunkey fans. They'll take something funny and ruin it within a week, defend the creators stupid takes ( honestly Chris has the same level of Egoraptor's stupid game design takes ) and repeat the process again and again. The only difference is the oneyplays fans have some standards, looking at the recent Skinwalker Hunt people weren't exactly happy that it was unfinished and Cory dragged it down for a few.
 
I don't think Lyle has actually played Fear and Hunger, but I think he definitely knows more about it than he is letting on based on some of the things he has said even before looking at a guide.

This is good though because I think he's leading them to funny shit and keeping them invested enough.
