That's news to me now. Last time they were on OneyPlays they were almost current MacieJay levels of overcompensating cheeriness.
Now you know why people give them shit when they do this woe is me stuff, it's such a 180 from what we see and yet ding dong expects everyone to just be fine with it

holy shit that's funny. really brightened my evening, thank you

It’s more that they only find personal fulfillment when they can wallow in self-pity. They don’t want to solve a problem or whatever, they want to get asspats and cry.
we talking about julian and DANG DANG again? did they do another stream or something, or is them being miseryguts just a general observation?

Nah, I just kinda dislike their BS. They can be fine, but over time I kinda got sick of them.

Thanks for the confirmation.
You're welcome :)
So who do you think the winners and losers of the sleepycabin project are after a decade?
To mention something about this real quick because it reminded me of something specific I listened to a week ago.
Sleepycabin S1E21: Potato Chips, featuring Stamper, Mick, Cory, and Niall.
One of Mick's main points against Christian God and the sanctity of marriage is how everyone in Sleepycabin "Turned out alright," despite being anti-marriage and anti-God.
Time has made this declaration very, very funny to me. It was already unintentionally funny back in the day, but now it's outright hilarious.

Also, if someone has any recommendations for a podcast like Sleepycabin, I'm all ears. I still go back to it to this very day but nothing really hits the same way.

Not great replacements but:

The Cream Crew: the Flashgitz animators and Meatcanyon. Similar feel of a bunch of not very PC animators just shooting the shit. They'd stopped at some point, but they returned a few months ago.

Let Me Tell You About/The Man With No Brain/Malevolent Movies: These are 3 pretty obscure channels that share several members, and tend to revolve around this deeply absurd guy called Joe Buckley who looks and sounds like PPP but with a worse haircut. LMTYA is about these two guys, Tad and Alex (and sometimes Joe, or some other guests), very unseriously talking about literally anything, from history to mythology to games to lolcows (they were in fact my first somewhat in-depth introduction to Chris Chan) and homestuck. Malevolent Movies is this aspiring movie maker called Ryan Ziegler and friends trying to discuss movies with Joe. And TMWNB is mostly Ryan and friends openly berating Joe for being a fucking retard in every aspect of his life. LMTYA is the wildest of them in tone, then TMWNB, and finally Malevolent Movies is more serious.

Gentlemen Discussing Vidya: a very infrequent podcast where a bunch of literal whos get together and discuss games. They're fun to listen to when they deign themselves to post an episode. Unfortunately, some of their members have in recent times caught a case of The Trooning, but I don't think it has ever come up in their podcast content. Yes in their secondary content about their meetings at cons and such, which I avoid, but not in the podcast as far as I can remember.

I've listened to some entertaining clips from Please Stop Talking, mostly bits about Mandalore telling weirds stories from his childhood and youth, but the podcast in itself is pretty fucking gay as far as I can tell. It was the epicenter of the alcoholic junkie schizo owl furry Shammy drama, after all.

dangdang is live again playing some emulated RoadBlasters knock off. he's only been talking about the game he's playing so far, doesn't seem to be fundraising or discussing the "basically finished" rhythm game like other recent streams.
no overlays, just pixelated full-screen gameplay.

it's four hours in and i'm bored

Why have you made it your account gimmick to attach a video of flat-faced gooks so caked in makeup and with so many filters on em that they no longer bare any resemblance to the human form dancing to some remix of (what I can only imagine is) a Cantonese housewife whining to her husband in some of the most grating, ear-shattering shrieks to ever have been called a language, and what does it have to do with Oneyplays?

what does it have to do with Oneyplays?
the lyrics include a long passage of them going DANG DANG DANG DANG DANG so i attach them to posts about ding dong because it sounds like a version of his name, and it's funny because it's the same song over and over and people who are annoyed by it will continually click it and then be mad. hope this helps

Well, you can stop

I only clicked it once and I'm already mad.

I read this in the voice of Mike Matei’s Inspector Gadget.

For those who missed it I recorded it live.

Btw does Dingdong have a dedicated archiver? I've been recording his stuff from Youtube but I missed the previous stream DingDongVG - Teen Turtles Go.

I remember when DD was pretending that he hadn't played Sonic Robo Blast 2 since the early 2000's* because it's now considered cool in the indie scene and he wants to cozy up with those guys,
*and hadn't done multiple funny streams where he ripped it apart with Rockcock and Oney and/or Karnivore.

I almost mistaken DD as Dunkin Donuts on your post there. Please forgive me.
