He’s back? Didn’t he just stream for 8 hours last week talking about how he would NEVER stream again? I remember him specifically saying something like “you’ll never hear my voice again.” Guess they need them game funds real bad.

DD&J keep putting off their shitty indie game because the second it releases they will lose patreon subs. Think about it, its a shitty indie shooter that will sell in the hundreds, not the thousands. Its 6 years of work that they will probably profit 20 grand off. Indie games are a dime a doze, you need to be extremely lucky to be the next Stardew. They need to milk it for all its worth.

That’s something I never understood about DD&J. They complain about having no money, but quit doing the easiest job ever: sitting on a couch and playing video games. All their Patreon supporters (who came from Oneyplays) will get left in the dark for a year after DD decides to wipe his presence online for the millionth time. I like both of them a lot and want them to succeed, but I do not agree with DD’s recent cycle of leave, return, whine.

Too bad they didn't go 4 kings again and check out Kaathe before setting the lord vessel. They also seem to have forgot about getting some random mcguffin from the crystal golem to reach the DLC.

I think DD wants the impossible. He wants to be an online personality but he doesn't want people to talk about his past. Instead of accepting that he can't have one without the other he just keeps on trying hoping it'll be different this time.

There's also literally nothing stopping them from making LPs on their own to appease the supporters that come from Oneyplays. Devote a single day week to record a couple games and hire an editor to cut it up. You know have a steady content stream that the vast majority of your audience will be satisfied with. The patreon would explode with people if you added stuff like being able to suggest games or whatever.

Biggest issue is he, and Julien, shared actual personal information willingly in the past quite publicly and also can't just ignore it when brought up after the fact. It's like some mild ChrisChan shit.
