He just talked about Bowlbo, he expected it to take a year, and it was gonna be just a shitty thing to play on the channel for a gag, but as development went on, he thought "this could actually be good" and the project grew. Now he doesn't know how long it'll take, but they're not giving up.

Something semi on-topic for Sonichu, I've heard of this theory going around about new Pokemon designs being so shitty because the Pokemon designers at Game Freak are not allowed to take too much inspiration from fanmade Pokemon/"Fakemon".
Not sure how much I believe this theory tbh, though. I think nu-Pokemon looking like shit have more to do with Game Freak's weird autistic philosophy when it comes to designing new Pokemon than fans making too many good Pokemon designs themselves

Just gonna throw it out there that pokemon used to look like sketches drawn by field biologists, and now they look like gay baby bullshit.
I doubt that has anything to do with fanart. The entire design process was infantilized foundationally speaking

At this point, I'm starting to think Chris is animating something for it (don't remember if he already stated this) for it to take this long and is probably juggling between it and Bowlbo.
