Does anyone remember which episode of sleepycabin it is where they talk about how they would memorialize each other if they died and zach says he would upload a video of himself eating a pickle if jeff died. I think they were talking about robin williams tributes too. That is one of jeff's best moments.

Lyle once again with the dogshit opinions right as I was starting to warm up to him. His opinions on dubs go right next to hating the MG:R soundtrack for worst Lyle takes.
And he used the two most asinine dubfag arguments too, "Oh how do you even know the Japanese voice acting is good if you can't understand it?" as if it's impossible to tell if there's convincing emotion in someone's voice if you don't speak Japanese.
And the classic, "How am I supposed to see what's happening if I have to read subtitles?" I don't know dude try having a >3rd grade reading level so you can instantly read them with your peripheral vision.

He really is the most basic bitch of the group.

The most recent example I can think of where there was bad acting in the original Japanese was Asta in Black Clover. Lots of non Japanese speaking people were able to pick that up.

It's the opposite for me. Adam's genuine stupidity is hilarious to me because he's practically a living gag character. I don't really care about him being a rich kid or not.
Cory's got the worst episodes imo. His screaming gooner autism just pisses me off. Him dissing his father all the time is gay as well. Maybe there's something he's not telling us but it sounds like his father is genuinely a nice, normal guy who wants his son to be a normal productive member of society. But obviously feels he failed and because he wants this, Cory just wants to cut him off as he fucks troon's axe wounds and draws porn nonstop.
Sometimes he's okay and sometimes he can be funny but broken clock and all.

But I can agree that the Adam/Cory videos are annoying as fuck.

Everyone in the crew has their flaws. Except Zach and Tomar. I don't think I've ever been annoyed with them.

I think he'd have a point if more dubbing was done by, say, the UK-based studio that does Dark Souls / FF14 / etc, where you've got people trained in theater on the sound stage... which is, I assume, how they do it in JPland as well.

The US is just so uniquely fucking bad and unprofessional in its voice-acting business, it's incredible to me that there's anyone who actually argues in favor of it. It's the most grating shit if you have even the most barely functional of ears, and thus I have to conclude that all of our issues with Lyle extend from the fact that he is deaf and is trying very hard to read lips while playing video games in order to contribute, and this explains why some of his jokes miss the mark and why he monologues so much
 
I want nothing more than a Street Fighter 6 World Tour episode featuring Chris, Tomar, Cory and Kira Buckland (Rina-Chan/Runkachunk) as a guest. I think it would provide some closure on Cory's character arc.
 
These streams are very comfy. They happen in the middle of the night, and seem to print money with the amount of superchats that come in. Hopefully they keep them up, it's a nice change of pace.

Also I remember how two best friends play had their whole fighting game thing but then Dave and some potato guy just crank out a comfy and nice fighting game stream in the middle of the night like it's nothing, Dave is pretty much everything that Liam wanted to be including not experiencing Twink Death
 
Someone donated to that SF3 stream asking about DD and J and Chris didn't even acknowledge the donation lol. He did mention he would go back to YIIK someday so who knows if those two will come back or not

Chris did say that he'd be missing some donations due to the volume of messages that was coming in, plus he was exhausted. Probably just a coincidence.

That aside these surprise streams have been cozy. Hope there's more to come during his Philly visit.

Seems like he's going back an forth on the topic since he mentioned in one of the demon soul's streams that he wasn't going to go back to YIIK pretty firmly when someone asked about it.

Nah, he was reading every single one at the beginning and skipped over the DD and J question and quoted/answered the one after it. Regardless of the situation, it's best that dd & j are kept away from OneyPlays not just because of them talking about hating being in the spotlight, but because they've gotten obnoxious as a whole.
