The Adventures of Chris is a pretty entertaining almost playthrough because there is plenty to mock but they end up completely engrossed.

Forgot to add the Little Nightmares video to the list. That's a good one.

I just finished watching their At Dead of Night videos from a couple of years ago. Shame they only did two videos on the game, there were plenty of great moments here.

I always lol when they play Gang Beasts. They did it once long ago with Ding Dong, Julian, and Lyle then later on with Lyle, Zach, and Tomar. Both series had me ROLLIN'.

i know people are parasocially retarded so it's probably not worth getting into but i actually think it's normal, in a somewhat specialized field (like "making edgy internet animations") to have friends in the same field who have some bad aspects you overlook. if you have some important, fairly obscure interests in common, which feels good because the world is an isolating place, the loyalty based on that helps you ignore or make excuses for the fucked up stuff.

if your colleague does something REALLY fucked up or the friendship ends then it becomes easier to look back and say "damn, why was i making excuses for that piece of shit"

so in this case chris doesn't go seek out guys who do sexy art of little kids to befriend, but with cory literally working for shad and them all being edgelords in the same industry i think it's totally unsurprising to think "ah, shadman just does that shit to provoke a reaction" since the people criticizing shad for doing pedo art sound a lot like the people criticizing oney for saying slurs or jontron for personally drowning a dozen immigrants. or cory for dating lexi, for that matter

I'll say, shit as they became later, and more so once they broke up, I still love the SuperBestFriends episode of Gang Beasts. It has one of the best plot twists I've ever seen.

I haven't watched op in like 2 months because of cory being in every video

that and I prefer the times they just talk about stuff, the dark souls and sonic vids have them talking more about the actual game/mechanics/game series which doesn't interest me
