I follow Chris on Twitter but because that site is ass and is more interested in protecting pedophiles than making a good product I never saw this. So thanks for pointing the ama out.

What I found interesting was this answer:

I'm sure they've talked about their schedule somewhere else but I think this is the first time he's mentioned what he does the rest of the time. It's a confirmation he uses the rest of his time (and resources from OneyPlays) to work on his video game. This is in stark contrast to the game grumps who act as if doing this let's play shit is difficult at all. OneyPlays also generally has a wider variety of guests and a larger number of people on the couch. Chris (and whoever manages the channel) are better at coordination than a supposed full time entertainment company. Arin is such a fucking fat, lazy bastard. It's amazing how much he wastes the opportunities his shitty LP channel gave him.

There's a couple of other replies in there with Chris talking about the game development with Bowlbo and features he wanted too. He also wants to do more so considering if the game works out I'd love to see what else happens.

But yeah this pretty much shits all over Arin, to Arin's credit(which is very very very small and he's still a faggot) he's really only backed his GG projects with money and voice, so Chris actually doing the programming, art, and music pretty much puts him eons ahead of that lazy fuck, especially when Arin wants to put his brand all over it. Ever since Chris did that Jontron game jam video you can really see him coming into strides and his videos like the recent Blender tutorial one are great free options to get some help with the program. That's that Newgrounds mentality staying strong and just supporting others for the sake of helping artists. Something Arin gave up when he went big into GG and became it became a "Company Brand"

My guess is that they'll get a proper setup and start streaming on either twitch or Youtube. LPs have been declining for a while now, and Oney has tested the water for streamingt before, but it was all super basic, so it would make sense to take some time off to take care of the technical side and do a few tests. The edited version of the FF7R stream I posted a while back was a pretty good watch, so they can just do those for people who want to watch something more like their LPs. Bonus/penalty points if they become VTubers.

I'd probably say it'll be in the same boat it is now. However I think they'll be a lot more selective of what goes on there considering the Youtube hassles they've had with videos needing to be edited. With that algorithm always changing I'm sure they're more for quality over quantity so it's less to manage and easier to figure out the strikes if they get them.

Lyle did a stream last night (I didn't catch much but I know he was playing with two other people not from OP), so I'm sure they'll be doing more of that on the side through Twitch for the other boys. If Chris follows that would be nice, but like how @quickthrowaway linked I think he'll be too busy to do that often enough for a presence.

Arin aims for all the wrong opportunities while pushing away the right ones. He could have a tightly run operation where only a handful of people are needed, but instead he opts to give all of his friends jobs to basically fuck around their office all day. I'm sure SOME of them handle critical aspects of the business, but if you're bleeding money why make it harder on yourself?

How crazy/hard does it get? I still need to play it and I remember watching a couple of the streams ding dong did on his Timothy account and I saw he's fine with being referred as ding dong, but that was right after they left
 
For anyone interested in the progress of Bippy,

Julian said, in one of his recent streams, that the game is now mostly in the coding phase and he’s already completed most of the work for it (he is doing concept art at the moment). He’s also attempting to stick to his schedule and livestream again.

The biggest update is them doing some name-your-price microgrames. Dingdong claims it can be quick and easy to make and this is just for everyone for anyone who’s waiting for Bippy so they can have something in the meantime.

Though, my only concern is that he’s spending a lot of time on VRC pretending to be a flamboyant donkey and hanging out with his furry friends lol.
 
After finally getting around to playing it I would kill to see the boys play Cursed Halo, if not just to see their reaction to the giant buff JPEG of Riku.

I think they have separate audio channels, so it -can- actually be a little difficult when it comes to editing. However, as you can see from the episodes, they cycle through folks doing the editing - all with their separate styles, all of whom presumably get paid for their turn at the task. Safe to say that GG also has its own slate of editors, which (I assume) Arin is not one of.
I've never really been drawn to GG, so I could be wrong and he could actually get his hands dirty from time to time with it.
 
I like episodes with Lyle and Tomar talking about the gaming industry while Oney kind of farts around in a game and that’s when I realized that I’m a boring as fuck old man and so are they.

I also like their stories from 2000’s internet because I hadn’t thought about shit like Naruto AMV’s in like 8 years and it made me realize how much of my childhood dicking around online is going to me lost to time and undocumented.

It gets pretty hard, but not on purpose. It's just lack luster game design.

Also that's pretty interesting. I doubt he'd be okay with it now.
