As expected, the tv show saved their animation budget for the scene where Roger and Oden find the One Piece Buggy comes down with a fever.
 
It just occurred to me that with the trick pulled on Zeus, he could end up back in Nami's possession. Meanwhile, Big Mom will probably land on her ship.
 
The Anime just got to the part of the Flashback..and I am sad that Rodger Laughing didn't get more time.

Also Anime wise they had the Rodger Pirates singing Binks Sake a few times, and the ending nudges me towards thinking the whole "Raftel" thing was on purpose even more.
 
You guys know I watch Joy Boy theories, right? He too, is on the same boat as I am in thinking Big Mom is being set up as a future Ally of the Straw Hats, and he is always looking for development and understanding of Big Mom moments and what it leads to.

So hours before I saw the Spoilers for 1009, I was watching an older video where he questioned the Limit of the Soul Powers. It got me thinking, what if Big Mom’s main homies were incapacitated.

Lo and behold, that’s exactly what happened in the week’s chapter. That’s why I was eager to report the Spoilers. It’s one of the first times I predicted for myself what might happen in the Next Chapter.

And now here we are. Linlin doesn’t have her Homies, she is falling from the sky, and the expression on her face tells me one thing - flashback time.

Why now? Because Big Mom is facing once again, the one thing she always hated, exclusion. She was excluded from her birth parents, excluded from Elbaf, excluded from Carmel’s orphanage( from her point of view), excluded from her own Tea Party (which caused her last flashback) and is now being excluded from her alliance.

Im so ready for 1010 and between Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, I’m gonna be combing for spoilers as much as I can.

I’m likely wrong though, but it’s just high time we see Big Mom as a young adult, in action, not just a few still panels here and there.

YEAH AND SEND IT BACK DOWN THE WATERFALL

Except that Onigashima is still moving in air and last we saw was getting closer to the Flower Capital, so she might have a harder landing with no chance of drowning. If act 3 is indeed coming to a close she'll most likely land back in Ebisu Town. And act 3 will probably end soon, with the match lineups being finalized, leaving more room for act 4 to be nothing BUT fighting.
 
Prometheus breaks out and saves Big Mom. Doesn’t stop further developments as Prometheus asks a favour from Mama.

I was going to say...couldn't Big Mom just create another Zeus to replace the old Zeus?

Jumping so quickly to Luffy solo against Kaido didn't feel right. Another chapter of Zoro holding him off or doing more damage while the other three went to fight Big Mom would feel more.....deserving I guess? If the cut was a better one or he took Kaido's eye, that would have made the scene better.

I can't tell if Oda is trolling again with Zoro and conqueror's haki or decided to actually give it to him this time and he just doesn't know it. It would be with him to actually have Zoro have broken every bone blocking that attack.

Zoro basically
taught Luffy how to use his conqueror's haki, so I wouldn't downplay his contribution to the fight

Besides, literally none of Kaido's forces have been defeated yet and
Big Mom's homie got a secret plan which is probably going to be revealed in three chapters.

We still have a long way to go and plenty of time for everybody to be awesome.
 
I've been skeptical about OP ending in 5 years like Oda keeps saying but after the latest chapter I can believe it. Luffy and Zoro are really putting out endgame energy.
I find it funny that it's only been a month or so in world and Luffy could stomp Katakuri easily now. His growth this arc has been crazy.

Especially since Hyogoro taught him how to use advanced armament haki better.
Also fuck kanjuro for disguising himself as Oden.

Oda didn't say OP would end in 5 years, he said the treasure would be found in 5 years. We still have the worldwide Final War arc to follow that, and god only knows how long that will span.
