VERY different from the books, and it skips over a lot of stuff while inserting things that weren't there before (though cool, kinda fuck with the underlying issue presented throughout the story: Ace's feelings of loneliness)

Oh thank fuck, I was worried. I got into One Piece when I was 13 and I’m probably gonna be pushing 40 when it ends— Oda better learn to relax more. I admire his dedication but he’s almost 50 and shouldn’t be running on 2-3 hours sleep and nicotine for the next 7-10 years.

Just found out there's a thread here for One Piece.
Absolutely love One Piece, I started watching back in 2011 (When I realized Funimation dubbed the series, but went sub from Water 7 onwards) and since the start of the Wano Arc (Manga), I've been up to date on the anime and manga.
Still waiting for Zoro's big moment in the Wano Arc (He's my favorite straw hat, my fiance love's Sanji, as they say opposites attract).
