So it looks like Inuarashi and Nekomamushi are gonna kill Jack.
Also, let's see what Drake can do now that he's officially switched sides.

We just need whoever the fuck is skulking about to reveal themselves so we can get shit on the road already.

PS. I still hate Kong Man

PPS. Am I the only one who thinks it was stupid for Oda to hide Dog and Cat's super forms? Is anyone actually hyped for that?

And I was banking on Drake pulling a massive powermove/reveal around the 1000th chapter, calling in the Marines for support including Ryukugyu (seriously, when are we going to see that guy?)

Fucking break next week, here is to hoping things get even more crazy and we get some proper chapters dedicated to one on one fighting.

I don't really think Drake has that weight among Marine HQ. The only guy we ever seen him report to is Koby, who should be in Akainu's shit list since the battle of Marineford, not running balls deep Spec Ops on the Yonko. The whole Sword thing looks like some kind of underground rebel faction among the marines, Kuzan is probably directing it from the shadows.

Yeah, shit, how was Koby able to stay in the marines after pissing off Sakazuki like that? Then again, he might've just considered him too much of a weakling to bother remembering.

Akainu was only an Admiral, not the Fleet Admiral. That Koby's speech was backed up by Red-Haired Shanks (who was able to get a private audience with the Five Elders and even had Sengoku's ear after he showed up) and his crew showing up probably factored into "okay let's just pretend this part didn't just happen"

Hell, that incident probably got Koby to join up with SWORD (assuming it actually existed before Akainu made it to Fleet Admiral)

Given that the marines had Rosinante infiltrate Doflamingo's crew about 15-20 years before the start of the story, pretty sure SWORD existed at that time or was formed shortly afterwards.

Sakazuki probably had a whole lot more crap to deal with given that he just became the head honco right after a War with the strongest man in the world, moving the HQ to the New World, had the Prison Riot to deal with.

Given that Coby displayed Haki, he probably just wasn't worth the effort of specifically finding and singling out. Given that he is in SWORD now I bet Sakazuki figured that something in the New World would just get him killed, and really Coby can't die because he is the only marine who will be able to back up Drake when Drake eventually gives his report to SWORD that "Luffy isn't evil, if we are fighting for real justice in the world..we have to side with him because Imu and the Celestial dragons are evil."

New SBS, which includes tidbits such as the fighting in Wano not being the Final War arc and others
Wano won't be the final War?

It is almost as if the entire series is leading up to a gigantic slap fight between Lawful Evil (Imu and the World Government) Chaotic Evil (Blackbeard and the evil pirates) and The people of the world who aren't abject douche bags fighting it out to decide who actually gets to rule the world.

It isn't like the world order isn't already starting to fall to shit, what with Reverie having some major drama, the disbanding of the Warlords, Imu calling for another cleansing. Wait until people find out that the "Empty throne" shit is bunk..and that Luffy has 3/4 of the Road Glyphs.

This is why I think Luffy has to beat Kaido 1 v 1 Right now, in this arc. He is going to need to Surpass the Emperors, Whitebeard and Gol D. He isn't going to have time to do that unless he is can face a Yonko on even terms right now.

So it’s five years until the One Piece is found not five years until the series ends, and apparently this final war will be the longest arc yet. Shiiiit, this series might make it to 2030!

Yeah, thank God. I mean, I knew the "ending in five years" was too good to be true given how much there is to still explore, Elbaf needs to be visited, after all. That's not really something to be wrapped up in less than five years if we're to get to the final battle.

I am somewhat disappointed in that revelation, like I did not believe for a second the series would be finished in 5 years...but I had assumed after Wano...we were going to enter the end game with Elbaf being a shorter arc..and then straight into the climax. Given that The Marines have..kicked..at least 4 major pieces into motion during this arc.
