It is gonna do that anyways. Eneis Lobby was effectively nothing but combat for the 7 Straw Hats and that was 40 chapters.

This fight has 10 Straw hats, 2 Allied Captains, Marco and the 9 Scabbards, we have seen what is going in in the outside world already..and I think it would be much more effective for Us to find out the Details as the Straw Hats get caught up on everything (and for us to find out what happened with the Warlords as buggy shows up being chased down by WG)

Well, a lot of official material and games lump Water 7 and Enies Lobby together; they just refer to it collectively as "Water 7", though the wiki refers to Long Ring Long Land, Water 7, Enies Lobby, and post-Enies Lobby as being part of the "World Government Saga" (since that was the first arc where the SHP actively challenges the WG). The Viz manga considers everything from 3D2Y to WCI as "New World" and "Wano" going forward from there. We don't know if Wano will be split into two arcs since it's technically two locations (Wano itself and Onigashima). So we might get an Enies Lobby situation where a hypothetical Onigashima arc will consist of mainly the battles. The act structure kind of leaves it ambiguous though. I'd say it's plausible for Act 4 to be the major conflicts where one by one the major players on the Yonkou Alliance-Orochi side are defeated, with Act 5 being the falling action following the climax and ties up all the loose ends.

You missed my point there, if we start the fights now..the arc will still go on for at least another year, at this point in Dressrosa Luffy had Confronted Doflamingo and was fighting Bellamy, Did both Mingos and Laws Flashbacks, and in WCI's arc Luffy had been fighting Katakuri for a while.

We haven't even started the fights in Wano yet, Is there a Chance that Oda is gonna tease us even more? Yes...but if he does my response will be "HOLY FUCK ODA GET ON WITH IT."

Luffy is the only character who has had a real and serious fight in a decade*, I want to see Zoro fight someone real (he fucking Punked Pika that doesn't count), I wanna see Sanji fight, I wanna see what Usopp and Chopper can actually do, I wanna see Kidd and Apoo go all out against each other.

*Not counting Frankie vs Senior Pink here..not because it wasn't fucking awesome because it god damn was, but because it was just Franky and Pink having a manly back forth beating without much skill full use.

I am not saying Dressrosa, WCI or Wano have been bad..quite the opposite, I've Enjoyed all 3. But holy shit it has been a Decade since the time Skip..and Zoro has not had one serious fight, the Straw hats have never been seriously tested in combat except Luffy.

Edit : Sorry @Trombonista but Kung Fu Point has (to this point) mostly ruined the coolness factor of Chopper, post Fishman Island he almost exclusively defaults to it in combat instead of shifting to the best form for the current situation.

That disagree was largely on my sister's behalf. We both agree that the sounds he makes in the anime are adorable.

If that’s the case, and if Wano is their opportunity to give the rest of the SHP their serious, all out battles, then it would make more sense to have them be fleshed out rather than rushed through for the sake of finishing up the arc quickly. I’d rather each character have a fight that isn’t resolved in half a chapter. Plus the build up leading toward each confrontation makes it more satisfying when we finally get the payoff.

Just be patient and enjoy the ride, bro. I wanna enjoy One Piece as long as possible.
 
I think the Big Mom pirates aren't going to be a part of this battle. It already took them a bit to repair their ship and get to the top after king, so its likely they're ship will be busted up again after Marco. Ive got a feeling that The SH Grand Fleet or SWORD engages them. Marco is definitely going to be a necessary fighter for his healing ability against queen's diseases AND he's a mobile "revival" factory which will be important for the rebels vs kaido/orochi's 30-40k men

Oh fuck, don't let Momonosuke be the tragedy of this act. Oh fuck, oh shit. I mean, I doubt it, but I almost forgot about his abduction and that Orochi is more than willing to kill a child to erase a bloodline.
 
@Kari Kamiya I didn't even think of that either. It's totally gonna fucking happen too.
Also Ulti was funny before but is fucking hilarious now.

Dayuuuum Kaido’s a player. I also think Black Maria might be his baby-mama but I doubt it since she isn’t referred to as his wife or anything (then again rulers have concubines).

Also NO BREAK NEXT WEEK FINALLY. COVID-19 won’t get in Oda’s way!

Haha yeah she is pretty legit character, are her and Page One supposed to be brother/sister, or is she like Boa Hancock with being obsessed? And man, im really digging P1 design as well

I am enjoying the constant heart attack feeling Chopper has everytime he encounters Big Mom, especially the last chapter with his little tank stopping right in front of her. When the anime finally gets to that scene it should be good meme potential.

I really wish to see the tank turn into armor for Monster Chopper if he has to fight Big Mom again, ninja monster tank.
