5 Years is optimistic, he been saying that forever.

However, I do see the end of Wano leading into the escalation into the Final Arc, the Straw Hats will have 3/4 of the Road Glyphs and I do think we will find out what is on Laugh Tale before we get there, given what we know of One Piece it is vitally important to the balance of world power and as much as Luffy wants to go in "fresh" I think much like The Paramount War..events are going to spiral out of control so Quickly he really won't have the chance to object when Marco shows up and spills the beans because Ultimately Ace and Whitebeard died for what is on Laugh Tale.

as for Laugh Tale/Raftel

HE DID THIS SAME FUCKING SHIT WITH GOLD ROGER/GOL D. ROGER HOW IS IT HARD TO WRAP YOUR HEAD AROUND. Fucking hell Internet The World Government doesn't want anything about Laugh Tale or the Will of D to be known, nobody even knew Raftel existed until Gol D. got to the end of the line the first time and found out there was something beyond even that and did it all again.

Normally I wouldn't count on events happening in that manner but considering how out of control shit is getting and that we're nearing the endgame, I won't discount this as a logical course of events. This hinges on Marco actually knowing what Whitebeard knew (which is 50/50 right now, though he knows something about Blackbeard..) and that nothing has gone wrong with him (he was last seen with Cat Viper, who is still MIA).

I'm actually kind of hoping the address the name thing in-universe (like they did Roger's name) via narration/dialogue (as in, "it's commonly known as Raftel but is actually called Laugh Tale) mainly to shut up people who keep arguing about what to call it.

Also the WG probably wouldn't mind D. being a known factor to the world if they controlled it (eg more Marines like Garp or a shitload of them in the Cipher Pol). The Celestial Dragons might bitch in that scenario but that many D.s on your side would give you more cards in your hand.

Well consider one thing, as out of control as shit is getting now, by the end of Wano you are effectively going to have 3 major powers.

Luffy and Allies. (the Good guys, presumably the Good Marines are gonna end up here at some point.) - at the end of Wano has 3/4 of the Road Glyphs..and I bet the 4th falls in his lap..when Buggy shows up (possibly in Shank's tow) with the map to Captain John's Treasure..which is the last Road Glyph.

Black Beard and Allies (Lawful Chaotic, Bad Pirates the Underground) - May have a cheat way to Raftel, Given that His Ship's is connected to Xebec..Xebec may have discovered The Secret to Raftel.

World Government. (Lawful Evil Marines, The Celestial Dragons) - They have an Eternal Prose to every Island.

The moment one person goes for Raftel..the other two absolutely have to as well. Neither of the other two can afford to sit back and see how things play out. If you thinks are going out of control now? Hold onto your Hat, Magellen is about to have the biggest shit he has ever had straight into a fan.

Honestly Marco is a name I pulled out of my ass, Dragon could show the fuck up and spill the beans or Oden could poof into existence after Wano cause his wife threw him 20 years in the future + 3 months, I just think Marco has the..best "Luffy you stupid asshole, you need to listen to this..this is more important than your bullshit." argument with Ace.

I don't think they need to, it is the exact same stunt Oda pulled before anyone who doesn't see that can eat a dick. Oda had Reighly and Haki planned from the Start..do you think he would fuck up the name of a core concept like that?

Well, it is probably more that "A D got to Laugh Tale? Okay lets memory hole as much as we can, call him Gold Roger and call it Raftel so that nobody even thinks the D. and the Island are connected."

I don't think anyone's even thought of the Captain John thing. It would explain why Buggy's not even mentioned it in his two appearances since the time skip (he or Shanks have no interest in the One Piece).

Also fuck the flagship, Blackbeard himself is the one implied to be connected to Rocks. The ship name, I think, is more symbolic than anything. I think it's more likely (at least per Sengoku's word on the matter) that Rocks got enough proof to put the pieces together and (correctly) guess the truth of the world but not enough to find out the full truth before he was wiped out.

Dragon = fuck that guy (I'm kinda meh on the Revolutionaries at this point)
Oden = ded (him turning out to be alive might fuck up the story, or at least the Akazaya Nine's motivation)
Marco = :agree: but I'd prefer to see that Marco himself does this and not through Cat Viper giving his "message"

Well it is less that he doesn't care about it, but he had his Impel Down Prisoners doing mercenary work for him, he was comfortable and safe as a Warlord. Consider in the same Chapter that they remind us that John exists and was connected to Rocks, is the same Chapter that kicked Buggy off his soft cushy island. That doesn't seem like it would be a coincidence.

Again pulling names out of my ass, the point is somebody in the know is gonna show up before we hit Laugh Tale, because it doesn't make sense for us to not know what is at stake when everyone, and I mean god damn everyone, is going to be pulled into it.

Alternatively, Roger knew what the fuck he was doing when he went up on that execution Platform and announced the existence of The One Piece, because that is how he got started..because Xebec implied that there was something at the end of the Grand Line, and when he got sick..Gol decided "Fuck it I am gonna die anyway Lets see what is there." and when he found out it was something that would start a War if it got out he decided he couldn't let it loose on the world and then just die..so he did the one thing the World Government could never stop.

He put the idea of The One Piece in the minds of everyone who was watching the day he died knowing that one of the Other people with D. in their name would eventually reach it.


Edit : Also..can we appreciate that the most "badass manly man" in Wano..is called Oden when the writer is called Oda.

You know, I been thinking about it.

I pulled Marco out of my ass as someone who might know what is on Laugh Tale..but after consideration..Whitebeard has probably told him. We know Whitebeard knew, and we know that Marco was the second in Command and was Whitebeard's right hand man. Given that The Whitebeard Pirates were going into a full on War at Marineford..it would violate common sense for Whitebeard to not tell his second in Command, especially given that D. and Laugh Tale are connected.

A combination of puberty and an active lifestyle, obviously. Totto Land wasn't a thing until after the Rocks ended and Big Mom most likely sits on her ass and eats all day long these days which is why she looks like she does when she was a kid (that and being old, though the final chapters of the Totto Land arc show that old age has not slowed down her metabolism).
 
Crocodile seemed embarrassed about his past when Ivankov referenced it in Impel Down. I suspect Croco-boy fell in love and slept with him while he was a female and woke up next to an okama. Hee-haw. (That or he had similar aspirations as Luffy and got crushed in the New World.)
